She has been sick so didn't dress up.
what a show that was!!!!
Rob Zombie opened it up, and blew us all away...
he had former Marilyn Manson guitarist - John 5, at his side...
and that rocked even more... dude played good and hard... and was able to toss in some real playing time, that he never really got the chance to do with Manson...
I actually liked Rob's set more than Ozzy's.... but they were both off the hook...
this was one of the best shows i've been to in a long time, maybe even ever.... and thats saying alot, because i've been to alotta shows...
Ozzy had none other than Zakk Wylde on lead guitar....
I wasnt a real big fan of his, before tonight.... but screw all that now...
I'll support anything that guy does....
I havent seen anybody that good, since we saw Dimebag, back a few years ago.... and this was on a whole other level, what he was doing tonight....
he did a 25 minute solo, at one point, and ended it by going into the star spangled banner (the photos of him and the american flag that i posted above, were from then) - ala Jimmy Hendrix....
even played behind his head at times, and with his teeth at times....
wow, wow.... just.... wow...
was it good?
not at all....
had a very boring, and crappy time. :coolfrown: :goofy:
Glad it rocked for you guys Nick
It looks like you had decent seats too.
but yeah.... our seats were great...
there was one section of 15 rows in front of us, and then a huge divider/walkway, and then our row.... so we pretty much had nobody sitting infront of us...
we even had to use the VIP entrance hallway to get there, cause we were on the floor...
It felt great, walking in, and seeing that stage setup that Zombie had... and then walking down the aisle to our seats...
every few feet, we were stopped by a secuirty guard with a flashlight, wanting to see our tickets, to make sure we werent sneaking into someplace we shouldnt be....
"oh... you're up there, keep going".... and every time, we kept inching closer and closer to the stage....
the place was PACKED with people wearing costumes....
half the fun, was before the show, and between sets, and afterwards - just checking out who was there, wearing what....
first ave was hosting a halloween ball/costume party, the same time... so that was kinda cool...
downtown looked like a circus...
from the line outside, it looked like they had a great night too...
I'd be willing to bet that Target Center sold out, at the walkup windows last night, too... the building was packed.... It was cool, to look around during those slow numbers, and see all the lighters and stuff..
Now where to find an old white station wagon...
zakk is a super kewl d00d as well as a phenom at playing
although, steves bro ended up finding a Chucky mask, and a witch hat, and a cape, just laying on the ground at various times... so he went home with a costume...
heh
with credit, of course
looks like she has a tatoo peeking out
I wish her show at the fair this year wouldnt have been cancelled.... I was lookin forward to that.
I'm trying to learn the particle system. Got an idea going, but need to see if I can learn how to make it work.
if I stare at it long enough it begins to beat like it has a heart
you just like that I have an avatar at all
