goodmorning, haha highland ... thats the funny thing...
last night we're all sitting around Matty B's trying to figure out what we are gonna do "today" and I decide to call my sister to get her car (because she has heat)... she didnt answer.... she picked up her phone to call me back and at that very moment the deer ran into the corner front headlight area of her car.
barefootguy could probably imatate my expressions better than I could but everyone thought I was talking with someone who had just found the medallion - hehe
when I said Icesis car got hit by a dear - it was just a suprise - after we knew Icesis was alright... I put her on speaker phone and she was really funny while in shock talking about this deer --- we asked her where she was because she only left the bar abt 20 minutes ago and many thought she was probably near a park and we could all make a trip out of it.....so when she says she is in WI!!!!
OMG!!! the jokes started flying while we figured out how to go get her .... jokes about its rack and that we just wanted to go get her because we can still make barclose . Finally Gerilynn and I took a ROAD TRIP! We didnt have to drive all the way to WI though.... Icesis tried to drive her car even though the car was crunched into her wheel. We met her somewhere along 94 in Woodbury and followed her back to St Paul with our flashers on.
LAMOMMY is awesome and I appreciated the concerned calls from coolercrew during the trip. Medhunter was also nice enough to loan his camera to me to get photos. He may post them later.
Hay I can fix it so it is Drivable if you want!! I can pull the sheet metal and plastic off the tire!! that Way you can still get around with it!! I could also rig up the head lights to where they are in some what the right spot!! let me know!! I am prity handy with that kind of stuff after hitting a few deer in my life time!! lol I will talk to your sister tonight about it she can get a hold of you about it!!
Thanks Icey. I may just leave it alone so when the insurance adjuster comes out they can see original details of the accident like tufts of hair in the rim and light areas
Minor frame pull, new fender, paint fender and blend the door and hood and the strip above the fender, misc. plastic and light frame pieces, paint underhood and cut-in parts, alignment, headlamp housing...
it is right around the 6545. price range I use to drive tow truck and have had a few run INs With deer my self!! they wont total the car because no air bags! so thats good!!
Max just came and sat on my lap, saw Clue Master's Avatar and said "Somebody's got Jack Frost!" and I told him whos avatar it was, and he commented (from Obb's the other night): "I can't believe he's so nice."
Still no word on cost. They decided not to do a formal estimate, so I will find out the repair amount when the car is completely fixed. Car should be ready by Friday. Also sounds like there was some paint damage to the door that needed repair.

I'm going to start the 'guess the estimate' pool with a guess of $8942.
Also................
Can I bet? I promise, they haven't told me how much to fix it yet. :pbpt:
I just know whats going to happen
My guess is closer to $4200 or less.
What does the person closest to the actual repair cost recieve?
and remember bidders, its a 2007
volkswagen
:ooh:
damage looks worse in person
mrmedhunter, got another pic?
$7,130.96
The other pictures turned out really dark. This one is almost too light to see the damage.
Where's my 420 guy
Somebody won a trip to Amsterdam
Cute huh?
Do you think he is thinking Jack Frost or CM?
I'm gonna straighten my hair if you don't start comin' around soon!
good kid...
Kitch, Max was sad to see that you left, he was gonna try to get you to play another game of cards !!!!!
He is a spectacular little guy, although explaining the superbowl game during the WHOLE game got to be a bit much
L & A - nice to see your girls again, sooooo adorable!
