Ok here is a theory! Everytime Artemis and Marley pull up to THE park the coin is located whereever we park the FIRST time the coin is very near!Check this out! Our first hunt was Como 1997!
1997-Como parked right next to the group of trees where it was found on clue 3
1998-Cherokee- parked right down from the trees where it was found and all 10 of us walked to the park blg. right over the coin.On clue 3
1999-Conway-- parked right by the house address and walked to the whole other side of park.On clue 5
2000-Newell--parked in the parking lot! Never got out of the car here and this is a small park so any where I would of parked I would of been close.
2001-Como--parked right by the west picnic sign.
2002-Merriam-parked by the ballfield.On clue 1 to take pictures.Never got out to dig there.
2002- AW"S MOCK HUNT--parked in the beach lot. 2002- Jakes first hunt--parked right there. 2002- Jakes 2nd hunt--parked right there.

I have Qwest for my service. Once I lost my phone and once I, well, let's say it just didn't work anymore. Both times they sent me out a new one for free. It's not a fancy one, it's a pretty common model, but they gave it to me for free. Maybe you could get a new one? Doesn't help with all the lost numbers, but at least you'd have one.
They have offered me a new phone- I just havnt decided to continue service yet. I really want the phone numbers lost :(
...the woman from Qwest says "we want you to stay with us (DUH) so we will give you a phone for free" and continues a bit later with asking me if I want to BUY their service plan for $3.95 per month that will cover lost phones--- uuuuh duh, I just have to say I lost it and will close my account and they will give me one-why do I need a 'service plan'? GEEESH!
ok---this is what happened-and it is actually quite funny when you think about it and just my luck...
My battery was extremely low- that is why KIDS took the call for the last clue that night...
KIDS said that the medallion was hidden near the 'something with love or couples in the clue and I saw people running-so I didn't hear anymore of the clue...I ran along with everyone else ... as I ran I heard one guy on his cell phone saying outloud..."north of the oven?" but I saw all these people jumping into the woods WEST of the oven! I called Ares and said "ok, can you give ME the clue now?" and he said "yeah" and the battery went DEAD! can you believe it?!!!!thats when I heard the guy call his buddies over and say-"it's this way"--and I thought I dropped my cell into my inner jacket pocket but it probly dropped right through to the ground as I ducked my head down (I felt like I was wearing a cloak over my head not letting the guys know I was following their voices) and followed the guys over the bike path to the SPOT!
---I do recall- which I thought was pretty cool- it was so dark and there was so much commotion that I actually closed my eyes and listened and followed the sounds around the 'dutch oven'---I am pretty proud that my senses kicked in like that!
