I'll be surprised if that anagram was actually on purpose. Gee why did I expect that from you AW!
As far as when I figured that out was after the first clue came out I printed it and wrote "South Phalen" and all the extra letters on the print out! Never looked at it again tell clue 9! After the N St Paul and Coon Rapid hunts were over! Then I looked atit again and came up with like 5 or 6 anagrams with "South Phalen" in them! NONE WHICH I THINK ARE RIGHT!NOT EVEN THE ONE I POSTED! But I wouldnt be suprized if "South Phalen" HAD something to do with the clue! Point I guess I need to make is . Ok so lets say it didnt have anything to do with the clue! If the clue writter puts his/hers coin at Phalen He/she should make sure you cant spell your park out of any 1 line in any clues! I did have the 10th clue me2!
Thanks everyone I really had fun with those three hunts back to back after the pp,s. I really got my fix.
Not too bad as far as clues go. Though I don't know that I would point out the deliberate deceptions in the explanations. It's generally better to just say with a straight face that the clues obviously pointed towards Phalen. And then maybe afterwards say, "You didn't think I was talking about Highland, did you?" and then kind of snicker.

I assumed that you meant that Failin was the phonetic spelling of Phalen and not the pneumonic spelling. Although I'm sure it was hard to breathe out there if you were standing behind Marley. ;)
