The Navy Island part.

I do feel that it's Frank St. and/or Burns + Navy Reserve St.

I've been combing the whole park for a few days with nata.

I am not keen on the 'high and low' clue but the glow part could be the pyramids at Cherokee. and the trees of green = evergreens OR is there a business called Green Tree?

What is the name of that gayguy group who sings YMCA?

The Village People.

So it could be hidden in a village.

What about the church clue? Charolette Church? she is new up/coming.

we have so many hunts with DOME, CHURCH & BEAR.

ok- I may buy a NEW park with clue #4. where you can see 2+ 'domes'.

Main Entry: 1dome
1 archaic : a stately building : MANSION
2 : a large hemispherical roof or ceiling
3 : a natural formation or structure that resembles the dome or cupola of a building
4 : a form of crystal composed of planes parallel to a lateral axis that meet above in a horizontal edge like a roof
5 : an upward fold in rock whose sides dip uniformly in all directions
6 : a roofed sports stadium

I like that Mounds can be 'DOME like'

Is there a mural that has both cathedral and capitol besides on the Landmark Brewery?

Fri, 04/04/2003 - 12:28 PM Permalink
me2

Can you see the Metrodome from any park in St Paul?

Fri, 04/04/2003 - 12:29 PM Permalink
me2

I hope these clues are DEEPER than what they seam to be cause this hunt is supposed to be 'evil' says the clue writer in Rule #7---7-just remember I'm going to be evil

they seam so obvious and if I look deep and they are obvious then this calls for a big RRRRRRRRRRRRR!

i doubt it. i'm 4 floors up in roseville and can't see it, despite being able to see the downtown skyline. however, you might be able to see it from along the river bank farther north in the city.

The obvious

#1
Cathedral & Capitol
A Kodiak Tin
Evergren Trees
glow (pyramids at Cherokee),glow of the city, outdoor light fixture
A church
tread could be a few things-bike, tire, swim, sex, walk path
Frank for a st name or name the park (Frank Kellogg, Frank Boyd, Frank Burns)
Navy = Navy Island or Old Navy (sigh, not again)
upper ground = upper afton or just plain high ground
Picnic area & playground

where are the GAMES in the clues?

Now the first clue if swimming could be YWCA
cause it can be long -Young Womens Christian Association (?) or short YWCA. Wide as Y skinny as I dont know or maybe wide/skinny are women?
farfetched. How about the Mississippi River? for wide/skinny/long/short?

I suppose it has NOT been clarified to be in St Paul yet? so it could be out of St Paul- but in a BURB? YUK! That should be clarified in the first 2 clues of any hunt.

so NAVY= Village people---it is in FRANKVILLE

Trees of Green

Trees of green
Flowers of bloom
Clouds of vapors
Streets of gloom.

Earth of wonders
Skies of gold
Sights of breath
Hands of fold.

Dews of dust
Thorns of flesh
Raids of blood
On fingers of trust

CLUE #1
It could be long or short
Wide or skinny, but for the beginning
Tread around and start looking

CLUE #2
So now that the hunt has begun
Head on out and look for
A church that has just begun
Talk among your self's to figure out this 1

CLUE # 3
If you can see trees of green
You are where you need to be
You will have to look high and low
It's right there with a glow

CLUE #4
If you can view more then one dome
You your self will find the home
Of the puck's newest home

CLUE#5
It could be black or brown
But look it's right there on the ground
Watch out for the bear
Reach in his mouth if you dare

CLUE #6
It's just about time for spring
Time to have picnic's and things
Call the family young and old
Off to the park you must go \09

CLUE#7
Let me be frank I love the navy
Figure this out and it's all gravy
But you must go play on upper ground
And you wont be let down

CLUE#8
One name is the same
Now this is kind of lame
Put them together and it's all the same
