my hunt will begin Friday march 28th.The rules are as follows:
1-use common seance(it will not be anywhere you can get hurt or injured in any way)
2-some where in Ramsey county
3-no asking the clue writer anything(and the clue writer will not say anything to hunters looking or not looking)
4-the clues will be posted at 6 p.m. every night
5-the hunt is open to all ,meaning there is no pp-vs-cc stuff during this hunt if there is any you will disqualified the reason for this hunt is to finally bring the 2 groups together
6-seek do not destroy
7-just remember I'm going to be evil
Prize is a DJ show and some cash!

I've been at work all day. I was thinking Indian Mounds looked good, though it almost seems too obvious. But it was cold yesterday and I was very tired 9I went to bed at 8pm!). I have to be in Brooklyn Center by 6:45 tonight so I don't know if I'll get a chance to look when the clue comes out. Though it's a bit odd to have it be an hour from clue 12 and people still aren't sure of the park. I thought maybe it was on the intersection of Mounds and Earl, under one of the streetlights with the stop sign on them, but I didn't find them there. But then again I've never been a big fan of looking under streetlights.

I haven't watched MTV in quite a while....too many shows, they don't play enough actual music.
All I got from checking out their show listis a newer show called "All things Rock"
There is a new show about myths, I believe it is called fact or fiction. I dont know if that helps, i think chris diggers noodle is pretty good.

I will post the pictures tomorrow but ...I stepped out of my front door thisafternoon and saw black smoke in the sky over the trees twords downtown-thinking usually its white smoke from the NSP?excel Plant...off to the bluff with the camera and sure enough...FIRE!
I got better footage than the news ;)
The NSP/Excel downtown location was on fire -30 foot flames over the roof of it. I was the first person on the Cherokee bluff -by the time I left the bluff there were 50!

Well if there is a show called "Big Urban Myth", that would sound like the one the clue is referring to. Though as a clue for a treasure hunt, hmmmm, not sure what it's telling us. Or at least I wasn't until I looked at my THG...

Who's all gonna be out there for the clue tonight? Where are we gonna meet? Up by the playground? I hope this final clue isn't a '20 paces' clue as I have a bad knee and can't run very well. It would be nice if it just narrows it to within a few hundred square feet.

Playground is fine but if its at Mounds then I am partial to Bates/Mound/Clermont --that'll be a good run for you.
So far there have been no clues about Bates OR Earl
so I think this last one will be about one of them unless its not in that park ;)
The only 'muck' I saw out there today was under a huge bush on the west side of Mounds off Earl.

Yes, I found it. So much for the mad dash because I think I was actually the last one to get to the area. I had the advantage of having heard the whole clue and knowing it was under some sort of concrete. And apparently I was the only one who heard that who also remembered that the last clue said it was only about 5 feet down the trail. I moved one block and it wasn't there. Kicked at a second and it didn't move. Then I remembered the 5 feet part and looked to my right and there was a big, angled chunk of concrete sitting there. As soon as I saw that, I knew it was it. I was surprised no one had touched it yet. I figured if I could just move it, I'd have it. I grabbed it with one hand and managed to pick it up and sure enough, there was the Kodiak tin sitting right there.
I guess it does pay to come out once, look for an hour, and then come back again at the end and find it. hehe The real funny part is I actually walked right by it about 45 minutes earlier. I parked right in that lot and Regman was digging through leaves there. I went over to say Hi and saw the trail there and was curious. I started walking down it and walked right by the treasure in the process. But I really didn't think it could be there so I didn't stay or look around at all. But I guess it didn't matter too much in the end.

Good job AW!! I'm glad it was you who found it. You deserve it. While we were all jumping around turning over everything in site, you calmly walked up and turned over the closest cement slab and waalaa, there ya go!
