I put $2 in a machine at Mystic Lake, and along with the $3 my wife left in it, turned it into $165.

I prefer treasure island.... ive gotta better track-record of winning there, than I do at mystic lake...

I've gotta habit, of - when i'm leaving, on my way out the door, i'll drop a buck into one of those giant slots that are right by the cashout counter.....

the ones where if you win, you can play the "flip over a card, and see if yours wins" games.....and you can keep doubling what you have....

the last 3 times that I've done that I've walked out exactly $65.00 ahead of what I went in there with....

I say add one to each number and you won't have to share it with 9000 people.

And plus I bet it'd be easier that way, you wouldn't have everybody asking you for money because you only got so much every year.

Yes, and exactly!

on a $365mm jackpot, we'd take the cash, pay the taxes and assume the investment risk ourselves.

of course, i've got a few thing i wouldn't mind buying if we won. a private jet comes to mind because there's something to be said for flying to paris on a whim, although tc strongly disagrees with me that a jet would be a good idea.

David Lanegran, the author of that, is a friend of mine. He's married to one of my best friends. He grew up in SSP.

I asked me2 about him a while back. He's involved with the Landmark Center.

he's a good researcher and writer

I like going to the MN lottery website and seeing ALL the numbers that have been picked over the year and come up with an average that way. See what numbers come up alot.

I did that with the spread of every set of numbers from 1997 through June of this year... I went back and threw the best numbers in, and over a year I would have come ahead $100... (not counting what it costs to buy each ticket, no PP#'s)

The best numbers I had going that way were the second run numbers... like the 5th best picks... I think (when I did it) that the year previous would have made me $350 or so... Crazy...

I just am not that lucky... I had my one piece of luck but I used it already... Now I just have to keep her happy
