Ok, so turns out this is gonna be pretty tough, someone went to every single shinders in the twin cities and bought them out! I'm on a mission!

I'm moving back to minneapolis this winter and should arrive a little near the end of January I' m looking forwaard to seeing all of you again!!!

You'd think they wouldn't be that hard to get a hold of though. I mean, it's a published thing, you'd think they'd make as many copies of it as the public would demand....

btw is shinder's the only place in town worth looking? What about bookstores? Barnes and Noble? Borders?

Somewhere there has to be a good source on them.

there's one on ebay going for 25 bucks. Out of print? I think not! They just released it recently. I don't doubt for a minute there isn't a good source for these.

Retail for this comic is $2.19, you shouldn't have to pay more than that for it. Although, it sounds like I have a new hunt on my hands ;) I'm going to check out borders tomorrow

It'd be sweet revenge to buy a few and post them on ebay at regular price. Shoot, I'd donate a few bucks to cover a couple auctions just to sell some at regular (if not cheaper) pricess and make that guy look bad. As if he didn't already anyways.

There is a small book store over here by me that I'm gonna check today, I don't think alot of people know about it,(Ian probably knows the one) If he has any copies I will let you guy's know.

I might try and check out Source comics as well. Plus there's a little comics shop near my place, doesn't seem too big, maybe they'll have it. I mean for cryin out loud, it's just a comic book, shouldn't be that hard.

And the people that buy them all up to make money off the people that wanted them are jerks and lowlifes. Of course, that's just my personal opinion.

BTW, did you see how much our ebay extortionist friend is charging for shipping and handling? 11 bucks! I can't believe someone actually bidded on that. That means to get a 2 dollar comic, you're spending 31 bucks to get it. Talk about insane!

Hi everyone- I got the last 2 Borders had in the Midway.

The day it was in the newspaper all the Shinders were sold out-
I was told most places only get approx 4-6 copies each when they order -noone knew this one was SPECIAL :)

I got 4 more on hold when they hit Brainerd on the 16th (hey thats tomorrow!) :)

I wanted to tell you guys I found the Archie comic we've all been seeking on Saturday evening, after some hard searching. I didn't bother with the online thing myself, actually found it at the Borders in Woodbury. I actually enjoyed the hunt for it, and I don't have to wait for it to come in the mail (in fact I've already read it).

So I'm curious, was I the first in the bunch to actually hold a copy of the ellusive comic? I drove all over the place to find it, so I was just wondering if anyone else had beaten me to it. Got mine at a bit after 6pm on Saturday the 13th.

Now, to preserve my copy as best as I can....
