Dawg had an idea to put a pic of the ice palace in one of the date circles.

I always thought of tinkerin with the logo a bit. I was gonna make 3D models of the water cooler jugs, just hadn't gotten around to it yet. BTW what is archie78 trying to accomplish anyways? I think everyone that wanted a comic already has one.

Okay I was a bit bored tonight and started work on a 3D water cooler jug.

Here's the test render, if there's any interest, I'll continue modelling it (adding the other ribs and messing with the material some more). One nice thing about 3D is you can change the vantage point, and it allows you to make a three dimensional logo as well.

I am still waiting to hear from Marly if he wants to print them or not. If I do, it will be printed at school in the production lab between the 19th and the hunt.

That looks like a very cool program I am not sure what program my school teaches for computer animation. I am not sure if I will go into that program yet I was thinking of graphic arts but I might do that one as well.

No no, this is the shortest day of the year. That means that now, each day gets a leeetle bit longer. Thoughts like that help one make it through January.

So by the hunt we should have another hr. of daylight.

Ice Palace Doomed

I was out walking on Phalen this last Sunday. Was pretty cool, some spots the ice was so clear, you could look down and see the lake weeds (It was definately thick enough to walk on though).

It'd be too bad if they couldn't harvest ice from Phalen though, that's my territory on that side of town.
