The Menards on Robert is going to be demolished and they are building a "bigger and better" store on the same site. Home Depot is going to move into the Super K store on Robert and Lowe's is building across from the Target site on Robert.  Where PetCo is now. Robert St. is going to be the handy man/woman's dream soon. :)

I'm really excited about getting a Lowe's near here. Home Depot is pretty cool too.
FWIW: When I built my shed, Home Depot quoted me over 50% more that Menards price for the lumber.
I'm going to Jamaica on Wednesday. If anybody has any over-the-counter childrens meds or kids clothes to donate, bring them to Ferns on Sunday. I'll be donating stuff to the church in Negril... Anything is appreciated! Thanks.Â
The trick with Home Depot vs. Menards - you have to tell them you can get it cheaper at the other place and they will often meet the price.
I'm excited a Lowe's is moving into town. More competition is a good thing for consumers.
I went to a Lowes when we were in Springfield, Missouri this last August. We had watched the Lowes commercials on Home and Garden for years. We were looking forward to seeing it and put it on our list of site seeing one day.
It was nothing special at all! If anything it felt like a nicer version of Menards but a lesser version of HD! We were dissapointed - walked out without buying a thing.

Yeah. I vascilated all day Sat... I was just too 'coldy.' Way way tired and hard to breath - both lungs and nose. I didn't want to get over tired and/or over heated tromping around. I just didn't think it best I go; better to try and get over this cold/take care o'myself. Actually thought about coming and just sitting to get one cache (for showing up), and getting lessons on the GPSr. Wanted to talk to McLucky, since she's got the same one I do. There was no way I was going to be able to walk miles hither and yon.Â
I was way disappointed. But kept telling myself, "There will be udder times."

wow, just stopped at work, someone ripped out our outside cameras and stole them! just wires hanging there now, makes me wonder if someone is planning on breaking in some night.

I would have just used black paint on the lenses if I was going to do that..
i seen that on some show once. They stole the cameras so there would be no evidence. DOH! the tape is in the VCR not the camera!
