If clue comes out (before med. is found), then as all good Cooler-philes do, I'll magically change my computer into a shovel and whiz over/on?/to CP and dig like mad (with wreckless abandon, assuming clue is as detailed as usual).

When I was there at 11:30 there were at least 100 people, if not more. I didn't stop to look around though, with the news crew there it kind of made me stupid for looking around.
hi all, just got back from cp. been there for 4 hours. the little bit of snow that wasn't dug up is now!! the people looking at the two ends are slowly meeting in the middle, between wyoming and winona where it sounds like it is.it shouldn't be long now else something like page st is right.

Here's my two cents....First, I think we are all reading too much in to the clues...I have been looking for years and every year I tell myself not to get so nit picky with the clues. Think broad with the clues. If you read the answers to the past years' clues, you find that each clue usually has a broad theme. I do think however, that clue # 6 might mean when you look out over the stack, the medallion may be behind you.
I agree that clue #11 means if you find the right zone, (area) to look between, you will find the med. Staying near where the local streets intersect the park, either between Wyoming and Winona or Baker.. I know that the previous med was found up on the North by the fire hydrant between King and George, so it would make sense that it is further south..As far as the sliding hill goes, I think that is one of the more vague, global first clues that pinpoints the park....
We'll see. We plan on being around tonight when the clue comes out. Will wear something white. Have cell phone and will have someone on line at home.....Good luck to all..this has been a blast...It has been hard to get my work done....

hey everyone - been at the cooler now for a couple days - couldnt actually go search myself - live 1200 miles away - the HUNT is the best part of winter in st. paul - lived there for 21 years - will be back in about 9 yrs or so, after hubby's current tour of duty is over.
got really addicted to this - kinda strange huh? have to pay a visit next year this time - so i can search again. thanx guys/gals had quite a few laughs - it was good to be home again.
Well I will be able to get on with my life and get some sleep tonight. Tomorrow, I well start suffering from PPMCC withdrawals. Hope to make it on Sunday, see you there.
