What do you think it's disguised as this year?

Fair Trade

Lillydale Park makes sense: It has three pyramids, well known sledding hills, it's on Baker Drive, you can see the huge smoke stack from it, there's a huge playground...

Does Ivy have hills or what are the kids going zoom on?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:01 PM Permalink
ivyparkistheone

It is in Ramsey people. Why dont you go to the park yourself.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:01 PM Permalink
ivyparkistheone

Clare, yeah!

Lilydale Park is in St. Paul? I don't think so.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:03 PM Permalink
Clare

Isnt Lillydale on the lower half next to the mississippi? It needs

to be on higher ground...I defintly think Ivy is the place. I think it

would have been found at cherokee already and Ivy is kinda discrete.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:03 PM Permalink
Fair Trade

Have you guys already ruled out Lillydale or what? We were there along with probably 100 other people until 4:00 this morning.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:05 PM Permalink
Shell-Head

Does anyone still think it's in mounds?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:05 PM Permalink
Fair Trade

It's in St. Paul - check the map. It's on higher ground - very obvious when you drive across the Smith Rd. bridge to it.

Everyone - meet at Ivy in 20 minutes. We will be rich, or a couple thousand dollars richer.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:07 PM Permalink
Clare

How many possible clues are left?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:08 PM Permalink
Fair Trade

Lillydale has three large pyramid shaped buildings in a line, right in the center of the park. Like I said, it's right on Baker Street, and it's near the line that divides Dakota and Ramsey counties, as well as two cities.

Great to be back all. So it wasn't found in Cherokee. Hmmmm are we ruling that out?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:08 PM Permalink
Clare

It will take me about 4 hours to get there...so I will be reading

your names on the pionerplanet instead...but tip a couple back for

me in celebration.

IvyIs, why don't you give us some directions on how to get to Ivy, and stay in Ramsey County?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:10 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

Where the hell is Ivy?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:10 PM Permalink
Fair Trade

Well, I'm heading back to Lillydale. Good luck all!

has anyone thought of highland park (high ground)

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:11 PM Permalink
Shell-Head

Your right Clare, I was at cherokee earlier and there are about 100 people diging up the place.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:11 PM Permalink
Clare

If you need to find Ivy go back about 20 messages. But it is in Ramsey

county and in st paul...thanks to the new lines that were drawn this

year!

ivy- your explanation of the clues could point to any regional park in St. Paul. I highly doubt that the playground equipment says "Rosebud" on it and if it does, than I would imagine several other play systems at other parks would as well. Besides, way to miniscule. Any chance you live across the street from Ivy Park?

The clues end this thursday.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:13 PM Permalink

Fair Trade - Lilydale is in Dakota county.

I think IvyIs is sending us on a wild goose chase. I don't believe his explanations. Anyone agree?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:14 PM Permalink
Clare

I live quite far from Ivy park...about 265 miles from Ivy, in good

ol Madison, Wisconsin! Well, at least we all pretty much agree its

in the same general part of the city! Thats something good to look at!

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:15 PM Permalink
peter peterson

I still think about highland it has sliding and the 2 new watertowers

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:15 PM Permalink
Shell-Head

How many more clues is it going to take for somebody to bag this thing?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:15 PM Permalink
AirBourn

Those voices in my head that read the clues all say "Cherokee Park", but that place has been turned over on its ear already...

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:15 PM Permalink

Sisters, that was my take on Ivy last night...

Itsinmypocket

You guys-don't you remember? It wasn't but a couple of hours ago when we were all agreed that it was at C.P. It IS at C.P. The med is not very large. It would be easily missed by someone looking for it in a pasta box when it's actually in bread dough, or a tums bottle or a banana peel. The med is at Cherokee Park.

Does anyone have the # to call to find out if somebody has found it?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:16 PM Permalink
ivyparkistheone

Right as we speak I am sitting in Ivy Parks parking lot with my trusty laptop. This place is starting to get busy. With in the next hour the medallion will be found since Ivy is a small Park. Thank god for technology!

I know a hotshot at the pioneer press, maybe if I can convince him to

confide in me who the clue maker is, we can all tie this person up and torture

him in the form of wordtwisting and clues!

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:18 PM Permalink

Tell me how to drive from Cherokee to that parking lot, Ivy...

Peter, only one of the 8 clues point to Highland, while every one of them points to Cherokee.

You must live pretty close to Ivy! You sure got there fast! ZOOM!

Maybe kids drive cars through the park at night and in the process

they drove it in the ground making it impossible to find that damn

coin. They should have kept it metal...I love metal detectors!

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:20 PM Permalink

I'm gone 4 a few but Ill be back at 4:00. C-ya!!

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:21 PM Permalink

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:21 PM Permalink
