ivy - What streets border Ivy Park? The only Ivy Park I can find on my map is called Ivy Hills Park and it is definitely in MH. There is a playground bordered by waseca, baker, bellows and page...is this your Ivy Park??

Could someone tell me if there are three pine trees at IVY park that might form a triangle with immeasurable imaginary lines. I think the

three pine trees could be the pyramids, because of the triangle shape. The stumps of the pine trees is what makes the

"pyramids" rise above the snow. Just like what Clue 8 said.

It's at Cherokee but there's 3 inches of ice/compacted snow from tree trimmer trucks to dig through

THERE ARE THREE PINE TREES AT THE TOP OF THE SLIDING HILL AT HIGHLAND THEY STAND ALL BY THEMSELVES FORMING A TRIANGLE

Pugsley: CP is the place! And you're right! Those tree trimming trucks really compacted the snow. Very difficult to dig!

Ivy, if you have such great friends in high places than why don't you have the medalion in your hand right now?

Hmmm, a quick recall of Ms. Perry's geometry class reminds me that pine trees are CONES, not PYRAMIDS...

Those three pyramid shaped rooftops at Cherokee are just too perfect.

Peter, I suggust you go to highland and search by those three

pine trees. I can't because I live three hours away from St. Paul.

I found a rosebush at Cherokee.

Why do they have the tree trimming tucks out in the winter anyway? Why don't they leave trees alone for awile and let us find the medallion. For all we know a little kid probably found it the first day, took it home, and is now using it as a draw bride for his snow castel!

I think it's in the coin collection box inside of a Pepsi machine at a truck stop just south of Des Moines...

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:34 PM Permalink
Shell-Head

Probably.

Refering back to that double division. Picture a picnic table

from a birds eye view. You have the big rectangle as the table and

the 2 smaller same size rectangles for the seats. Now on paper,

to me that looks like double division. Seeing as we didn't get

much snow early this year, maybe its hidden under a picnic table.

Brian: where is the rosebush at Cherokee?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:37 PM Permalink

If there ever was a rosebush at cherokee it will be dug up before the week is out.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:39 PM Permalink

Near the Sledding Hill.

I was just wondering how big is this thing supposed to be?

I just came from Cherokee and I looked under all the picnic tables in the pavillion. It is not there.

Oh, you know, it's about medallion size...

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:42 PM Permalink
Brian Schletty

The problem is that you can't see the three pyramids of the bathrooms from the rosebush.

Okay, I know this has been hashed to death, but are there any new ideas on the ...crack the code ...demo of the mode to pursue. I don't know...the dome idea is okay, but doesn't seem to significant to Cherokee. After all both the Cathedral and the capitol can be seen from Mounds as well. Does anybody think this could be a clue as to what the medallion is in?

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:42 PM Permalink
AirBourn

Yeah, I can tell you a bunch of places that it' NOT at... ; )

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:42 PM Permalink
AMD

Probably a hundred people or so and the place is turned upside down.

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:43 PM Permalink

Sisters, that's the clue I've been paying most attention to, also. The only thing that I've come up with so far is that 'lode' may indicate those big rocks at Cherokee. The demo/mode/code deal still needs some work... You got any new thoughts on the subject?

Are we all stuck that the money is in CP??? Is no one thinking MP anymore???

Sun, 02/01/1998 - 2:51 PM Permalink

I'm still holding out for Cherokee, yes. But that place is dug up pretty bad, so I'm constantly reconsidering Egypt.

John Nelson- The double division refers to Anapolis street, it divides St. Paul from West St. Paul and Ramsey county from Dakota County.

Airbourne - Still working on that clue.

What's the general concensus as to what the med is hidden in? Does the rosebud clue refer to just the sledding hill, or is it clueing us in on the container. I've heared the pasta box idea, the dough idea, etc and am not completely convinced of those either.

The Indian burials or the pavillion tops?? by the playground by the slides, by the double division(tennis court), by Thorn St. see the airport beacon, and smokestack and the Pioneer Press as in Citizen Cane. I don't know????

All the clues that are givin so far do is point you to the right park. So far they have marked off the West end of C.P. with Anapolis Street, They marked the East end with the Pyrimidial building, the rose bush out there is inbetween both along with the sledding area, if you ask me it is taped or glued inside of an artificial rose somewhere in the open land between the playground equipment, and the sledding area; Yup, the hardest compacted snow to isn't it.
