there is a rock kind of by annapolis (by the sledding hill) a couple by baker st - kind of all scattered. Again, don't think the rocks have much to do with it. What are you thinking? Maybe you are seeing something we dont.
it's in Casey Park because there are 3 pyramid looking playgrounds and there is a rosebud st. right there plus rose bushes. Plus there is also a dome out there that not too many people know about. And the "lots of dough", part in clue #7, there is a dough factory right by there. check it out!
Sisters, Lode refers to ore and lead, if those rocks are ore and lead... well... and by Anna. St.... I dont know I guess i got to just go there sit, look around and find the Medallion
"lode" was used in a clue for 1996 when it was hidden at Harriet Island and it didn't refer to anything in particular. That is what makes us think it's not that significant.
First off, I can't believe I'm telling anyone this, I live right by the park and I have been trying to keep this to myself but I just can't.
Okay, that "rosebud" clue has many meanings, I think. If you notice, there is a thorn st. right by this park and also Mounds. This Casey is very small and it's just across the street basically from mounds and you can easily see the smokestack from here. It's also on the same ground level as Mounds. Also from clue 7, "aid your decision", Casey has a small building that kids go to if they get hurt playing on the pyramidal playgrounds, and they have nurses on duty to serve the kids, I remember because I used to play here as a kid also and I hurt myself repeatedly plus my mom was one of these nurses that worked in the first aid building.
Check it out. Maps do not show it because it is a very small park.
Catch 22: I see your reasoning...Where exactly are the binocs...Are they in a safe enough place for a lot of people to be looking for the medallion? I know there is a lot of traffic on the high bridge; not sure the PP would hide it in a place that is risky for people to get hurt.
ER - The pyramids at CP are so obvious! As soon as we got the clue it made perfect sense. There is a building that has three pyramidal(? is that a word) roof tops.
An update for medallion hunters...as of 4 p.m. Sunday it has NOT been found. The Pioneer Press has been getting lots of calls from people asking; just thought I'd let you all know the search is still going on.
Master JP - Nurses on duty at a small park...Really? I don't know about that. I don't know of ANY park that has nurses...First aid kits, yes, but not nurses.
The binocs are on the corner of the High bridge and cherokee ave. It is a small area and there is lots of traffic on the high bridge. There is an area under the binocs that is easy to get to. Last time I was there, it was pretty picked over but it could still be hidden in the snow and just overlooked. Didn't they hide it one year on a bridge?
4, I'm slow or something here. Are you tring to refer tyhe Pyramids to a court??
MHill - we were thinking the same thing.
how many basket/base/softball fields/courts is there at CP
Sisters what street is by those rocks???
All I saw were basketball and tennis courts.
how many b-ball and t-courts where there shell head
What is the exact position of the rocks?
Don't think the rocks have much to do with anything...big, but not monumental, typical landscaping boulders.
From what I could see one of each, but there may have been a second tennis court behind the first that I didn't see
I dont know? do you know the street name?? by them

Is there a race that is run near cherokee park every year? Like a marathon or 5K, that has the start/finish line at cherokee.
I bet somebody got it already. Anybody got the # to call?

In clue #4 the last line is "As you hunt for the mother lode" That spelling of lode is defined as an ore deposite or something of the sort.
Sisters, Lode refers to ore and lead, if those rocks are ore and lead... well... and by Anna. St.... I dont know I guess i got to just go there sit, look around and find the Medallion
master where is casey park
Where is casey park?
If those rocks are ore than we know were to look. I don't think it's the rock by the hill though. Because you can't see the pyramids from the hill.
"lode" was used in a clue for 1996 when it was hidden at Harriet Island and it didn't refer to anything in particular. That is what makes us think it's not that significant.
Also master where is the kid "zoom" part for Casey Park
Where is Casey Park???
Casey Park? What about the double division clue?
How was Lode used in 96'?
does anyone know where Casey Park is??????????
Mabey it's a picnic table at casey!
where is Casey??????
Where is Casey? Beats me.
clue from 1996: One thing to mark as you start this lark
Is that the wintry sanctum of this lode
Can be found within a public park
Think of it as Tobacco Road
I don't find a Casey Park nor Rosebud Street on my map
I think it is near the Binocs at top of High Bridge. Why?
Clue #1-- "one" refers to 1st bank 1
Clue #2-- "water and woods" refer to drinking fountain and trees nearby also "high ground" refers to top of High bridge
Clue #3--"roses" refer to sign nearby saying "taken care of by such and such garden society" and "zoom" refers to binocs
Clue #4-- "object in view" refers to binocs, "demo of the mode" refers to domes, and "mother lode" refers to coal at NSP
Clue #5-- "City streets" refers to streets with city names nearby, and "immeasurable" refers to distances you can see
Clue #6-- "plume of smoke" refers to NSP stack, and "view" again refers to binocs
Clue #7-- "line of double division" refers you to annapolis which refers you to cherokee which refers you to the binocs
Clue #8-- "three pyramids" refer to the tops of the three posts at the top of the high bridge
"lode" and Harriet Island... sometimes they ship ore down the river, that is how it related back in '96.
So where is Casey? Who suggested it? Does anyone know where it is? I know of a Casey Lake Park, but it is in North St. Paul (or Maplewood - not sure)
What are Pyramids at Cherokee park?
there is no casey park
First off, I can't believe I'm telling anyone this, I live right by the park and I have been trying to keep this to myself but I just can't.

Casey Lake park is in North StP but the lake borders Maplewood. Its at McKnight and 17th.
Good job catch 22
were is Casey park or is there such a thing?
ER - The pyramids at CP are so obvious! As soon as we got the clue it made perfect sense. There is a building that has three pyramidal(? is that a word) roof tops.
Elsinore - are you still thinking MOUNDS?
The pyramids at cherokee are on top of the bathrooms
2 sisters?
That's Casey lake park in North St. Paul,
The park that I'm talking about is just Casey Park, no Lake
what's up now, Check that out
An update for medallion hunters...as of 4 p.m. Sunday it has NOT been found. The Pioneer Press has been getting lots of calls from people asking; just thought I'd let you all know the search is still going on.
I'll be back to Mounds only if they build three pyramids and make two division signs (mathematical) on them.
JP, Where is Casey Park?
