You bet, Deb. I'm tempted to take part of the afternoon off, but don't know if I will. Nathan - a snow globe is a good possibility. I kind of like that. However, if you really look at past years, what the medallion is in is often not made known until clues 9 or 10 too. Yes, last year it was clue 3, but it hasn't always been that way.

Hey! If you need to check out where the last 10 years medallion locations and finder's names are check out our site at www.metrosupersaver.com!

Deb & SueBee: I wish I could be back at Cherokee as well, but I'm afraid I had to leave the hometown for my current roost in Milwaukee. Golddigger: It's nice to see the effort at metrosupersaver.com but there are several mistakes there. For a more proper list (with clues) check www.pioneerplanet.com/archive/wintercarnival/hunt.htm. But that one's not perfect either -- Kurt Condie found it at Cherokee the last time it was there. It was the second time he found the medallion. Considering that Cherokee is where it's at this year, you think they would've gotten it right!

I love this part of the hunt, knowing kind of where it's hidden and worried that you'll log in and see that someone has found it before you have.

Love to hubby at Creative Kidstuff if his boss checks the page!

Anybody have thoughts on what part of the park it is in? South side?

West or east of the curvy cherokee road through the park?

Has anyone been reading Jim Walsh's hunt diaries lately? They kinda help narrow it down.

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 1:37 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

I think it is hidden on the sidewalk across from the bathrooms: I know you're saying that its all dug up, but there are two clues that point right to, it: The one that said 'will you be the lucky one' means the three 7s posted right on that building. The pace clue means on the sidewalk think about it if you know CP.

Joe, Jim Walsh's columns are just there to throw the novices off. He's still saying that the med is at mounds!

That is a pretty interesting idea, go for it. I know where you are talking about, and it is dug up, but you never know!
