It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Iconoclast one who destroys religious images or opposes their veneration.

Does anyone know of a website of the maps they sell at the parks.

If it is at B.C., it might be near the hockey rink (goal in one of the clues, numbers keep score, away from the sliding hill, new lights...they will be building a new community center there in the next couple of years which will offer classes to the community...

If you go the department of parks and recreation, youi can get a sheet listing all the parks or you can buy a map with all of them for $2.00

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 12:48 PM Permalink
klaver2

There is a guy that sells the maps for about $8 at the parks.

I don't know what images. The term might just be referring to being noncomforming or rebellious. Or, it might have something to do with a religious statue or church.

A correction to a message posted by David D

the school house outside of HP was

NOT called Webster Magnet#9, it was called Mattocks School House, and still is (read the plaque)

I currently have a class in that school house (I go to HP)

Webster Magnet is at 707 Holly ave

I used to go there too.

People, people. I can't understand how everyone is thinking! I was out looking this morning at a park (that totally fits in with the clues). I was the only one there looking! And, it's been there once before.

Enough said.

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:06 PM Permalink

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:07 PM Permalink
lildebi

thats all well and good, but the 4 is not a part of the puzzle--its somewhere a 4

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:07 PM Permalink
ChiefSmoke

what does the abortion clinic have

to do with anything?

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:09 PM Permalink
Jerod Mitchell

Como also has a Downhill skiing hill! Also Como has some numbered landmarks!

P and S

Drove past hillcrest last night. Awful small, but works some of the clues pretty well. Close to home, so I will keep an eye on it.

its not at rice or bc people read todays headline and you will figure it out. but there is still not much to go by. but the park os right.

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:10 PM Permalink
selma and patty

Hey Chief Smoke...the abortion clinic is anti religious so isn't that iconoclastic

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:11 PM Permalink
christopher campbell

STONECOLD, Why is it not at B.C.?

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:12 PM Permalink
Jerod Mitchell

If all of you looked really hard at the clues you will notice it points directly to a certain park already. I wont tell you which park but look very hard at the 954 clue.

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:13 PM Permalink
selma and patty

Ok Stone Cold...we read today's headline but no matter what you think it isn't at Mille Lacs

Austin

tonights clue will pin it down for everyone. but if your smart youll konw the park.rushmore are you out there?

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:13 PM Permalink
Darryl Zero

college park?

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:14 PM Permalink
christopher campbell

I'M STILL INSISTENT THAT IT IS AT B.C.

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 1:14 PM Permalink
ChiefSmoke

I think that line of logic is

somewhat a stretch.

The Pioneer Press would not use something

like that as a clue becasue it is very

subjective, and also controversial.

good thinking though...

I am leaning toward Highland or Como,

but the clues this year are harder than ever.

I think it might be somewhere that it has NEVER

been hid before, and they are trying to get us to

look EVERYWHERE else before they drop the bomb

on us
