It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Wait, I don't get it... You (and me) are sitting here talking about finding this thing, and not actually out looking for it.... Hmm, wonder about the motives here....

If the medallion is in Conway tonight is the night.

If you go to friendsoftheparks.org it lists Conway as Conway Heights Park. Can't it be known by two different names?

Thanks Starbury! Terry, are you still going to Conway? Cab I team up with you all?

There are many areas that the snow has been walked on and compacted but has not been dug yet. If you think that park is too small, you need to look again. There's

a big area there and lots of snow to turn and chop through.

Oh, great. I was getting worried when I went to Conway and it only said Community and rec center, and then they put this not at the top:

Note: The medallion is not hidden on public grounds whose name is not followed by the word "Park." Really.

Terry, I am heading home. Hopefully can connect once I get there.

Everyone - It is NOT at CONWAY - Conway is not followed by Park - anywhere - internet, white pages, yellow pages - no sign that says Conway Park at the

park...Seriously we are looking in th wrong place!

Was there really 200 people at Conway today?

Hi Cheryl

Tue, 02/02/1999 - 7:13 PM Permalink
Sethmon

Im worried about it being "Conway Recreational Center" and not "Conway Heights Park!"

Sethmon - We would be honored if you met up with us. We should be close to the corner of Ruth and Conway...by the #4 backstop. I'll have a purple jacket...Inks

will have a black jacket...what will you be wearing? Maybe we should all wear something white that distinquishes us as cooler crew members...like New Daddy's

diaper or Eags' dishtowel tied on her sleeve.

I was looking at a plat of the area and they had the park divided in half on a line running north and south. The west half was labeled Conway Play ground and the

east half was labeled Conway School.

Ok. Thanks. BY the way...if it's not at Conway..where could it be??? Every other park doesn't fit! Last night's clue is: The comedian is Tim Conway and the crooner

is Conway Tippy (or something like that) But there is a singer with that name. It IS at Conway.

If anyone is at Conway Park, I'll be wearing a Vikings jacket, with a Bulls hat, and probably khaki pants on. Might even put a dishrag on my arm. So, if you want to

chat about the thing I'll be there.
