It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
what does this note at the top of the page mean? its not on grounds of a place not followed by the word park. Because conway is not called conway park. or is it?
You know, that's the way it goes. Until it's really over and then the withdrawal/depression sinks in that yet another year has gone by without finding it.
This is my fist year out looking for the Med. I agree with the Conway thing-all the clues fit. Spent four hours there today. Does anyone have an idea about the

Someone out at Conway told me today that the medallion stands for round, the snow stands for white and stretched quite tight could be what it's wrapped in, they

Scratch the condom thoughts. Pioneer Press wouldn't *do* such a thing. But ittiz not in a baseball or softball. The clue says *stretched* which means that ittiz latex

I think it's either in a toy drum, an artist's canvas stretched over it or a small embroidery hoop with cloth stretched tight over both sides with the med held gently in
the middle.
But I saw more pop cans that had been disected today to know that whatever ittiz in, it will be found.

Hello again. Thanks to Allison Wonderland for the great original idea of Conway Heights Park. I've been out there a couple of nights now, and it looks
good....but....a couple of things are still bothering me. Isn't the use of the word orient bothering anybody else? It means where the sun rises in the east. I'm thinking as
off as it sounds, and as much as I realize the Como clue doesn't work for Perry Como, I can't help but to think of the Japanese flag, "The Rising Sun" at the Japanese
Gardens in Como. I can't believe it's clue 11 tonight and I'm still torn between multiple parks. They should extend it out a couple of weeks since the clues suck so

One more thing that everyone should keep in mind. The clue a 9, a 5, and somewhere a 4 isn't referring to an address on someone's house. The Pioneer Press
doesn't want us to be looking at and or shining our flashlights at people's houses. I think they have a hard enough time dealing with their 3000 new neighbors!
Can I offer some assistance with the multiple postings?
There are about 2 things that cause that to happen. If you hit reload from a page that you posted something, that post will show up again. I think refresh on some
browsers do the same thing.
The other thing is to try to stop a post...before you see it and then hit post my message again.
If you want to read the next posts, simply click once on the first of the two numbers next to the poster's name. That will renew the page and allow you to read any
I called conway to ask what they are called they are OFFICIALLy called a rec center... Now what ???? She said they used to be called a park but not anymore....
I think it might have been Norm Crosby. I remember him hosting some comic hour or something when I was a kid. As for the 459 house, I was the first to make the
line from the house to the rec center, but it was much thinner back then!
You have to admit, it is fun though!
what other large object (red) is at Como Park?

what the hell?
You know, that's the way it goes. Until it's really over and then the withdrawal/depression sinks in that yet another year has gone by without finding it.
A ballon or condom or sock.
balloon
I hope its found soon too. I haven't cleaned my apartment since this thing started.
1) its in a balloon 2) its in a condom
Conway is a park and a recreation center. The recreation center refers to the building . . . *center*, the rest of ittiz park.
This is my fist year out looking for the Med. I agree with the Conway thing-all the clues fit. Spent four hours there today. Does anyone have an idea about the
round, white and streched quite tight? I can't belive I've become so obssesed.
We went over the park vs. rec center thing just a while ago. If you read up on previous posts, that should help.
Someone out at Conway told me today that the medallion stands for round, the snow stands for white and stretched quite tight could be what it's wrapped in, they
thought saran wrap or form fitting material.
Hiya Terry!!! Sorry I mizzed you today!!!
I really don't think they would wrap it in a condom, do you know how much crap they would get for that one?!?!?
It's so funny to go out there and wonder how many people are from the water cooler.
there is a house on ruth street with the address of 495 or 594..
The large red object at Como will be Santa Claus dropping the medallion at 9:54PM at the Frog Pond. But seriously, I live by Como Park and I don't think there is
one.
Hi MJ! We did a lot of digging and noodling. These muscles are a bit weary...but tonight's clue will get me pumped up again.
I agree, but ya never know.
its in a balloon with the number 4 on it
Scratch the condom thoughts. Pioneer Press wouldn't *do* such a thing. But ittiz not in a baseball or softball. The clue says *stretched* which means that ittiz latex
or rubber.
I agree Allison, I live in Como too, and I know it's not there.

I think the medalion is wrapped in white yarn, stretched real tight.

There is a 459 on Ruth St. But I suspect it has been more than thoroughly investigated by now.

I think the 459 being part of an address around there is too obvious, it can't be that simple!
there is a house on ruth street with the address of 495 or 594..
At least I didn't see anyone over there digging out that person's yard. That would be getting caught at the wrong scene!

got a hold of the new clue:
roses are red, violets are blue, its at conway, really its true.
Allison, the park side was dug up the width of the house and down to the ball field on Sunday!!! Sombody thought there was something to it!!! LOL!!!

Is there an echo in here?
there's a sign leaving Conway on 94 that says 94 & 5 when you're heading west.
There is a comedian whose last name is Crosby - not Cosby. It's Nell or Neill or something Crosby - my folks remember him - before my time
It's Tim Conway and Conway Twitty
It was Norm Crosby.

Bye Guy, Good Luck
There's a 9 and a 5 and somewhere a 4. This gives specifics that the 4 is not with the 9 and 5.
