My kids were ther last night and said one entrance wasn't open and had't been for awhile and I believe the Mcgowan entrance was just being closed. I'm not positive of the street names out there, being an eastsider. If i ever get time off work I'd love to go out there in daylight.
Regg, at the top of the page click cooler crew and that will take you to a web page. On the left side of the page click medallion and that will take you to past hunts
some of us are here beck. for some strange reason, i stuck with nothing to say. that's unprecedented. i drove throught como and past newell today at lunchtime. not a whole heckuvalot goin on at either.
I remember that clue, regg. i'm not going to rule out the balls as a reference to hidden falls, but i find it quite unlikely that they'd use the exact same landmarking items in the same way in 2 different hunts. for this reason, i also dismiss those who say the gold in clue 1 refers to the capitol.
if you're looking for a copy of it, i picked mine up last year at what used to be the hungry mind over on grand. it ran 14 bucks, but when i do finally find the medallion, it will have been 14 bucks well spent.
the book itself is called st. paul parks a treasure hunters guide. it was put together by steve worthman, who goes around these parts by the name "the treasure hunters guide".
OK ! Now its time to get down to business. Everyone likes at least half a dozen parks at this point of the game. The question I present is how many of those parks have construction activity in them and would the "med-hider" place this little blue translucent piece of acrylic in that park? Ponder this one for a moment.
Hey, gang! To get the newest copy of the St Paul Parks - A Treasure Hunter's Guide, go to www.treasurehunt.8m.com. and ask for a copy. As far as parks being closed a night, during the hunt the city keeps the park open because of the Winter Carnival and the Medallion Hunt. The police patrols the park pretty close if that is the case.
it's on river road and there is a big hill that goes down to it
Just got back - Pretty dark and nobody around. - Jill
It doesnt matter if the park is closed or not they have been several other years and people were digging in them???

Could "Duel" be reffering to the 2 times it was at hidden falls? Hey, I got an idea, does anyone know where we can get the clues from 1993?
the strange thing is, about a mile away from hidden fall is Crosby park which is almost the same as HF
has anyone gone into the park this year?
it's right on the river and everything
Crosby caught my eye - I have not ruled it out - Jill
Has the med ever been in Crosby before??
Nope, never at Crosby
Regg Man how did you pic your name??
Regg, at the top of the page click cooler crew and that will take you to a web page. On the left side of the page click medallion and that will take you to past hunts
Im going to research the 93 clues, Be Right Back
It was found at HF in 93 at 12:15 AM so I guess you can still get in the park but not via the main entrance after closing.

regg, i still like the out of view association with hidden falls, and it's fairly high on my list.
I picked mine up at the Map Store in Downtown St. Paul
How do I get a hold of this guy?

Hey all- just got back from driving around to some places- One thing I will never understand is how I get myself so frustrated
what makes me not think HF is tht in the last clue, the first letters of each line was an anagram for "city"
try www.treasurehunt.8m.com that's his website.
Hmmmmmmm, and how much are these books again?
Thanks a lot for the publicity guys! I just wish one of us would find it one of these years.
Harriet Island I suppose but I can't see the pp hiding it there and having the place all tore up.
leah, it's easy. i work too much =). then i come home and have a heckuva time figuring out mom's clues.
