The first guy, the "steel" one izz a knight (McKnight). McKnight divides BC into two sections: the EAST section in Maplewood and the WEST section in the CITY.
The second guy is Laurence Curran Hodgson, TWICE mayor o'ST. PAUL, and writer for The St. Paul Press-Dispatch/whatever. He was called "Larry Ho." Larry Ho Drive is in the very northern section o'BC and could be considered the northern boundary... Larry Ho Drive intersects with McKnight...
And "deal" is "lead" spelled backwards which a newspaper man would follow...
Green,I was reading last night after we got home and the field in Como is named after this guy.........also had some new thoughts on other things that fit this spot perfectly! Start thinking 'duel'meanings to words and linking their meanings together.........

Daddy, IT is a tradition for my buddies and I to go sliding late at night during the hunt, even though we are a bit old for it. We tie the clues into the park so we think we are "looking for it" We once left BC at 3:30 am and no bothered us.
I think Como, really! Peaceful bird......refers to what it's hidden in but also there is a bird sanctuary right by Larry Ho field in Como.Get it? Duel meanings.
Even the word'duel' has two meanings:It means a fight and two.Deploy referrs to a battle and if you link in your thinking I get Lexington and Midway.
Green, there is a statue of him across the street and the feild is named after him!!!! Man of steel and real!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna call Trent and see where they are,I really want the boys in this! They are so into it!!!
Circular thinking/linking - bicycle tires (two) and the chain. The hill that used to be a ski slope and you had to "keep on your toes" (where does this fit into Como?), is now a mountain bike trail/place. Dual uses.
(a whispering cant can be heard in the background, and is slowly rising in tone...) como?, como?, como., como., COMO?, COMO?, COMO., COMO., COMO!!!, COMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P-sphere, never thought about it, but it could match the linking theory, just like 5 BILLION OTHER IDEAS! I don't think I like the clues much this year.... toooo vague! :) :) :) I AM GOING PASTA CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
who has a scent dog trained to find Dove soap/candy/ or ice cream bars?
Where did they have the old merry-go-round, was it in como or by Harriet?
I kinda do Rush
Otay...

Battle Creek is by McKnight -- a man of steel/metal
I have been awol the last few days, sorry. But why the deal with Dove?
To escape the herd find a peaceful bird Somewhere deep in the snow. Our treasure is boxed inside the word, And that's what you need to know.
nuff said
I also think that "much tougher duel" means that they are going to put it in a big park rather than a Newell-sized one
