I'm still stunned by the lack of treasure hunters there this morning??? I know its a monday but at 8:30 this morning there were only about 15 to 20 people digging in the west picnic area.
yeh, That person is brave if she started screaming. Yesterday my son kept yelling he found it every time he turned over some snow. I have to teach him how to be calm when digging out around all the people.
3s, these people are hooting and hollering there why? if they found it, they oughta be on their way back to mom with it; otherwise they make nice targets for the more violent people in the crowd.
Ares, 2 carloads of people left. There were so many of them together, they didn't seem worried about others taking it. I hope it was a WaterCooeler person!!!!!

There's always a first time....I had just been bs'ing with one of the guys five minutes earlier that it would be easier to find a needle in a hastack....he agreed since we could at least use a magnet!!! LOL
I just told my 5 year old that the Medallion may have been found. He said, "they are probably lying." He just wants to go back out and dig today. I do too!

I just got a call from my husband, IT WAS FOUND BY THE LADY NOT FAR FROM THE BATHROOM SHELTER off the path about 4 feet from 2 picnic tables. A bunch of men are standing in the spot and she was yelling when she found it.
It was found in the East picnic grounds near where the east and west picnic grounds "link" together between two picnic tables. It was wrapped in a iron brand sock stuffed in a dove soap box. What a bummer!!
Areas, it was on the walk path up from the west picnic grounds area. Do you remember where the winners were digging by the sign, it was up from there to the east.
Derick, my husband was just there. Believe it - IT WAS FOUND!!! My hubsand worked all night and went straight there. Now he's depressed and on his way home to get some sleep. A bunch of guys are standing in the spot where it was found. All the people have left or are leaving the park as we read these messages.
