I guess they tried before I knew them but, they were too young. You know, the "non competitive" type of t-ball where they don't keep score and "everyone's a winner"?
Terry- Its off of Central Ave. Know how to get there? THX- Its too bad they had a bad experience. Hopefully they'll have better ones in the future, if they decide to get into them. Does Rory just play basketball?
It wasn't that bad of an experience. The older one can't wait to play basketball. The younger one doesn't have any interest right now. They both want to learn to skate though.
I would take 94 East to 35E North to 694 West take Central Avenue South exit. Follow to the Heights Theater. I believe it's on the left hand side as you're going South.
THX- Do you and/or Scribe know how to skate? And I have this picture of her at Rory's games, screaming her head off, cheering her on. Is that a correct picture?
kids, scribe claimed here the other day she was a skater. i'm a skeptic, since she didn't know the difference between a station and a depot :) long story. nevermind.
Hey, if I can learn to skate, most anyone can. I need to get out and do some skating actually this year. I don't think of her making a fool of herself. I don't think her daughter would allow that to happen...
I had double-bladed skates when I was really young. Didn't learn to skate till I was 10 perhaps. My bro played hockey, now coaches, and my sis plays hockey. Me, I played basketball, and have coached a bit last year. I'm just a sports nut.
MedKids, she's fine and is planning to come on sunday! She gave me permission to tell Trent and Jackie about her,I think her story is great! And she is the true Mocha in Como!

Scribe yanked them outta that right away.
:-)
Ian - Hello! Can you email directions to the showing tomorrow? You know I get lost easy.
They didn't enjoy it? how old are they now?
No, they didn't enjoy it. They are 6 & 4 now and this was almost two years ago.
The little one would sit down in center field and stare at the sky.
:-)
HEllo everybody :)

I am a St. Paul native...I get lost everytime I head west.
Crazy- Good evening! I was afraid you had been scared off last night. Terry- What area do you live in?
It wasn't that bad of an experience. The older one can't wait to play basketball. The younger one doesn't have any interest right now. They both want to learn to skate though.
She plays volleyball, basketball & softball.
Kids- Naw I'm cool :)
From 94 and Lexington.
Terry,
You live right by us!
I am sooo glad the medallion hunt is in Ramsey County - and not west. I'd be totally clueless and in the dark.
Terry,
I would take 94 East to 35E North to 694 West take Central Avenue South exit. Follow to the Heights Theater. I believe it's on the left hand side as you're going South.
I'm still totally clueless in the light........ in St Paul that is.
Thanks Thx!
We actually live in Frogtown - grew up on Sherburne right off Lexington and our first home was up in the Lex-Hamline neighborhood.
or a bit more direct: lexington to 36 west to 35w north. west on 694. mndot removed the loops from the exits there, so there's only one now.
and what's with all this talk of going west. it's still on the east side of the river :)
Scribe said to say "I grew up on the 400 block of Edmund".
Whatever the heck that means.
THX- Do you and/or Scribe know how to skate? And I have this picture of her at Rory's games, screaming her head off, cheering her on. Is that a correct picture?
I know right where that is. Just a few blocks from us.
kids, scribe claimed here the other day she was a skater. i'm a skeptic, since she didn't know the difference between a station and a depot :) long story. nevermind.
Scribe is huge into skating......she's an ice dancer.
Me......I know how to skate.
Yes, she really gets into the games. But she doesn't make a fool of herself
Or me for that matter. :-)

What is the difference between a station and a depot. And what does that have to do with skating?

THX - sending Terry that way is WAAAAAAAY out of the way. We live near the theater. However, it is probably the easiest.
I would go 94 to 280 280 to Broadway West on Broadway to Central North on Central to Theater Theater is on East side of street.
