dan, slog back to somewhere around post 10700. allison posted a bit from the paper on the subject.
in case you're lazy like the rest of us, here's the piece from the rules:
-- The finder of the Pioneer Press medallion must immediately return the medallion to the Pioneer Press, 345 Cedar St., St. Paul, to qualify for the $2,500 initial prize. An additional $2,500 will be awarded for bringing in all of the published daily clues from the Pioneer Press and providing them along with the found medallion.
nothing about actually clipping them from the paper.
The treasure chest back in the 50's was "small enough to cuff in your palms" The rules state we are still looking for a medallion, but I am pretty certain the medallion is inside one of these small tresure chests....
I withheld the large discussion of the myth of allison as not only the clue writer, but a vampire as well from Tim as I was trying to avoid slander charges! But allison isn't exactly dening it either so maybe I'm safe. I'll be sure to eat some garlic before bed just to be sure. =)
ok...MY over-analysis of clue one goes like this...it DOESNT tell you to stay off a golf course,,,infinity? (Ford) On your toes (High Land)...okokok.....ready to read too much into clue two
Thre's no need to destroy as you deploy for the hunt in our wonderful town, golf courses and statues you must not annoy and please steer clear of all private ground.

Does the winner get the medallion, or do they hide the same one every year? Always wondered about that.....
And I think that is all clue number 1 is telling us, but only time will tell!!!
Allison is digging up the medallion RIGHT NOW.

There was a pirate in an episode of Scooby Doo.
There were a couple, both Red Beard & Black beard's ghost appear in episodes.
