Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Wicked Nick
yeah...the brain can also mean the golf course...., since you need to think about your shots and whatnot..
It must be at a large park this year. Lets face it, there is little snow on the ground. The cluewriters must have taken this into consideration. Without snowfall as a cover, an average sized park (like Newell) would have every flake flipped over by clue 7. It seems like a large park is the only way, unless they are thinking like i am then.................
What about a church with bells? I dunno how much sense this makes cause ive been drinkin...but sometimes churches ring their bells to signal what time it is..
Hi all: Just catching up. "time to kill" made me think of a clock(tower) that doesn't work any more. Better yet, "time to kill"=killing time= stopping a watch=stopwatch, which is what you have when you are timing races (school track at Highland?)
There's snow, it's cold, winter's finally here Let the medallion search in you light a SPARK FAR AND WIDE take your hunt, have no fear You can find it in a St. Paul park
I'm thinking spark has a meaning or far and wide outskirts of st. paul Thoughts?
Finally checking in. I think we all are jumping a bit ahead naming the parks already. No snow till a week ago means the clues will have to be extentuous before revealing... pretty much anything. Time will allow for some revealing info, right now just catchy phrases to mean basic things. Deep breaths help when you are this anxious to get out, right?
I think hill is the key word here and kill is just there to rhyme with it. But the whole knit your brows thing seems fairly deliberate. Seems like either it's just there to refer to the medallion being in something knitted, or it's tryint to imply there's some other hidden meaning in the clue. Of course I thought that with clue #2 in Newell also and it really was there just to use the word "Ace".
Right, no need to go to'in and fro'in this early, after the past few years they are going to be very creative and not give out that much info so soon. So sit back, put your feet up, and relax!!!
they will have clues with hill and school references, and everyone will go highland, when it is at hillcrest. plus it is a rec center, so it will throw us off AGAIN

I'm liking Battle myself
yes ll
yeah. the police station is right by the golfcourse, and the school
ok, so is there a clock visible at highland?
think i'm leanin towards highland, as much as i hate to say it!
heh.... i dunno
#%&%&^%$ I don't want it at Highland. It's opposite end of town for me. lol
LL - I sure like your idea on time to kill - never would have thought of that. I was just thinking of a clock.
but that's my initial reaction

Who, heretofore, has had no interest in this Hunt. Now he's sitting here NOODLING with me, reading a dictionary, pondering, pondering, pondering.

What does a time to kill have anything to do with a police station.
In the movie it takes place at a court house for the most part
wow green! soon he will be as crazy as the rest of us!
Alpha, x-country races at BC?
well if you had time to "KILL" thats where you would end up doncha think!
Hi Green, That's my take so far, we'll see, surprised about the lack of noodling.
Llady, sorry.
He is already. He asked me to bee his bride, didn't he? No hope for this SOB! :D
they dont take killing to kindly at the police station, and if caught, you will have a lot of time to kill
heh...yeah, unless you got away with it :)
I wasn't referring to the movie, just the clue.
Just noodling #1

I'm leaving that last line alone, it's just there to make ryhme and use space... i think
what about being able to see the jail downtown? time to kill
just throughing things out.
last time they referred to "brain" was in 94 at highland, clue 5 which also included elevated terrain. I wish it were that easy right now.
throwing

ok, now I'm going to bed! night!
I don't think the word KILL is in the clue for the purpose of MURDER.

Laurence Stephen LOWRY....remember this guy. :) reference to clue number 2

Allison i think your right about the Hill - Kill is just to rhyme

Kill could mean murder if its Phalen..didnt the states first murder trial have something to do with someone named Phalen?
they will have clues with hill and school references, and everyone will go highland, when it is at hillcrest. plus it is a rec center, so it will throw us off AGAIN
