Has it ever been hid at Saint Anthony Park? It seems to be the closest to the KSTP radio/tv transmission tower which fits on the air. It is also close enough to the fair that you can see the space needle.
There are some dense woods and sliding hills there.
I'm gonna check it out at lunch unless someone tells me that park is in Mpls or something.

BC seems to fit but I can't get over the ski events there this weekend. The sign there says the trails will be closed to the public.
as for sledding, there is a rather long, though shallow, slope at phalen, running from wheelock pkwy and phalen drive down towards the beach.
