Interesting article in the PP today about contingency plans for carnival events because of the weather. Sounds like a few things have been cancelled and others are pending...or being altered to match this crazy weather we're having.
Does anyone have any thoughts on why they used the letter N in "park n rec" instead of using the word and. It seems odd to me, maybe it's just to get us wondering why!
I tend to think it's to indicate usual speech patterns and nothing more. Most of us don't enunciate "and" so that it usually comes out sounding more line "n".
I think with this weather, the clue writer would be holding off on naming a street just yet. I think we may have a couple more days before that happens.
I thought today's clue narrowed it down more than I thought it would this early. I've only found 26 Rec Center with parking lots. I went to bed last night thinking today's clue would be that generic water, picnic table or playground clue.
