Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
dh, i've been thinking the same thing about phalen and parking. i never see anyone parked on east shore drive, or johnson/wheelock. if it is phalen, they'd have to be talking about streets like ivy (street across the grassy knoll from wheelock) IMO. anyone know if wheelock/johnson/eastshore are/aren't no parking zones? i've never noticed before.
Hey! Phalens gates were actually OPEN??? Allnight?? That would be a first! Wow. Dart: well I can still try to park on the street.. I'll probably just go to the rec center across the way. You wanna tag along or what? I assume not, cause you didn't answer me last time. :)
Hi This is Cathi. I'm suppose to be teaching, but I can't concentrate. Here's my plan. I'm leaving school at 12:15. Goning to Battle Creek, and picking up the medallion. I'm not a secret hunter, join me. If I'm not there, I may check out Hillcrest Park and Rec. or Langford. See you there.
time and tide is what keeps bringing me back to DC. there's a sundial (time) over by the playground (fun and slide), and atlantic (tides) is a nearby street. atlantic ends about a block before the park, though - does close count in anything but horseshoes and hand granades?
Ok.. so now I'm back to square one... Is there a rec at Highland? And I do think its possible to hide it at como again.. but there is only 1 park I have not been too yet.. Battle Creek.
Ok.. all the big parks Ive been to..accept BC, the other parks don't have all the clues tie in with them.. I have another question, have they ever hid this thing at Fort Snelling park?????
I feel clue 5 only tells us there is a parking lot and a playground. All parks are administrated by park and rec. Any ideas about the word Wreck...except the obvious rhyme
...Wow, this is a difficult one, I suppose since there is no snow.. no really good solid leads with these clues.. (course in the end when we find out what the clues meant we'll all be going.. DUH!)
logging off soon - i'll be out later, noodling around a couple of locations. if you see a distracted woman pulling two tots on a sled with a shovel, that's me :)
that's probably a safe thing to do, carl. and i don't know if it happens or not but we can als throw out anything without on-street parking nearby as well. which actually leaves out the better part of phalen (the park, not the rec).
Does anyone know if the State Fairgrounds is considered "public" ground even though it's owned by the University? The guys my husband works with say they think it's in the Fairgrouds. I didn't think it would be considered since it's owned by the U.
Does anyone know if there is a rec center at BC?

Yes Janis, IT is brand new.

Good morning fellow hunters!
Quick question... What is the website that has the map of all St. Paul Parks? I tried to print it out last night but had difficulties.
Thanks and happy hunting:)
http://www.friendsoftheparks.org/parksearch.htm
search for:
park and recreation center
then eliminate any that are not in St. Paul

Groveland is out...

In past years the fairgrounds has been called off-limits cuz' it is private property...
The state fair grounds are in Falcon Hts. good thinking though.
