Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Not to needlessly pimp Phalen, but the rec center that is under construction could be considered a diamond in the rough (Note: It looks like a beauty). Also, there are ballparks that overlap into the construction zone. A baseball diamond that is in the rough remodeling zone? Lastly, there are ice rinks, and one is build on the outfield of a phalen rec baseball diamond.

was thinking that the jewel reference was because it rhymes with Newell & fool, so maybe they were fooling people into going to Newell. The diamond reference, was thinking it could be a product package the med is hidden in, like diamond matches, or a buisness with diamond in the name or in their logo, or it could simply mean a baseball/softball diamond... dunno =)
Danielle, we are talking about the same A B & C Streets. When White Bear ave crosses 94 it is then called Battle Creek Pl. Then it crosses Pullman Ave. If you went a bit further you then reach Pt. Douglas Road. So, it's the same place! Have fun hunting everyone.......I'm off to work now........Has anyone thought up the name of the song or the artist for me yet....."she's just a diamond in the rough......."????! Thanks.
I think diamond in the rough is a trick clue last night I saw some billboards with diamond advertisements on them, I thought of an old house with diamonds in the motif that needs fixing up. I like the fact that it states not jst any fool will find it. Telling me if you have an astute knowledge of St Paul, our capitol city, you have the edge! What are everyones top 2 parks as of today? mine are St Anthony and Prospect!!!!!!!
it may be foolish, but i still am thinking highland just for the fact thaT, MOST CLUES FIT AND EVERYONE HAS PRETTY MUCH written it off, anyone else with me?
If it couldn't be at Dunning due to a rough neighborhood why would it have been hidden at Phalen in the past? Seems to me the neighborhoods are similar.
Yada yada yada just about covers it! LOL!!!!

Like I said earlier I think I will wait until the 12th clue then go looking the way these clues are going :)
Diamond in the rough = ice in the rough....maybe.
I hate the thought of Phalen...arrggg...so big!
Hey Dall! I think they all took off, they were talking about digging somewhere this afternoon, but I have forgotten where. I also didn't slog...
Diamond and jewel.....two references to some sort of gems and rocks........any ideas why it is there 2 times?
mornin' dal. you might be pleased to know that someone pointed out that crosby could be considered a diamond in the rough! lol!
Why do my post's keep poping up more than once
Jenny- have you heard the news about Tanya?
....ya know what i think... in the air clue, it could be a billboard with a tv station advertised on it.. or a radio station advertised too..
in and on the air....smoke?
marie, any reason why wreck and rec are there? why hey hey and ok ok are there? something's definitely doubled up this year!
billboards can change overnite, jennee, and if the medallion was hidden there 2 months ago, the billboard may not be the same now as it was then.
