Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

I also have to wonder..... which member or members of the Cooler Crew embody a "noodle monkey"?
steve, i'm with kids on this. willing to scout parks, take pics, note landmarks. it definitely should be on the web of this is how we're gonna do it, even if the press does publish an insert.
Steve - I can help with that too. If this gets to be a web based thing, perhaps it can be added to the www.coolercrew.com site. The Pioneer Planet has already given us that space - but we'd have to check with Greg if he would want to take on the additional work.
It may be worth a riffle through the clues of yore, but it is believed that this is the first time dead squirrels have made an appearance in a treasure hunt clue. Fantastic stuff. If it had made it this far and the snow still hadn't dumped the field, Merriam would have been a giant mud pit befitting a tractor pull with second base serving as center sty for the big hogs to bump snouts in search of the magic blue truffle.
Terry, I'm sure we could have people help Greg with the website. I think we have some good computer savvy folk here who could put pages into html form possibly.
and even if greg's not willing to take on the extra load from adding the guide to the site, there are a lot of us who have isp's that give us x megs of web space for free with our accounts.
as for the hiding, i still wanna know who the idiot was who decided that just off 2nd base out in the open was a good idea for a place to hide the puck!
I guess I don't want to truly know who the idiot is...that would make me hate the guy/gal as a personal thing. It's better for me to just be disgusted with the hider in general terms.
Hi. Im sorry to bust into your conversation like this, I was just reading through posts, to see if Scribe had responded to my post, but she probably skipped right over it. Just my luck. Oh well... Scribe, when you come here, please read post 22623. ok, thanks, i'll go back and hide in my corner again.
Naw, don't be sorry. You didn't know, you asked. Don't feel stupid. The stupid questions are the ones that aren't asked. I'm sure she'll be flattered. Hey, she's pretty sociable, she still might be up for talking. Besides, if you're single and looking, she likes playing matchmaker. Maybe she can hook you up with a different hottie.
Yes Ian, you can join up now for the low monthly cost of $5.99. Joining the Scribe fan club allows you access to her personal webpage, her monthly newsletter, coupons to some of Scribe's favorite businesses, as well as a special Scribe apron.
No Ares, I did that all on my own. Scribe had her chance, but she didn't come through for me. So I went out and found myself a great woman. Besides, my girlfriend doesn't have a point system!
Aight, heres the skinny, since ya asked Terry, me and Shaggs have been discussing if we're gonna be there or not tomorrow....so far its at a "maybe".....we like to keep "some" Mystery surrounding our whereabouts at times... and plus, theres the deal with the camera crew, we heard they were gonna be there tomorrow, and they interviewed us the other night down at the PP, we were so lost for words, that they didnt even catch half of the flavorful freshness of us....we know people want to get to know us, and we wanna get to know ya'll too...but it might not be this year...since this hunt sucked so much ass...there were the lucky few that actually saw us down at the PP and got pictures with us, instead of the occasional "Sup ninja?"....if i gotta guess about tomorrow, imma say theres a 37.289934567 chance that we'll be there...take it for what ya will. Its nothin personal, we got MCL for yall (Much Cooler Luv)...
Ninjas...next year, will be fresh...we have many, many plans instore for next years hunt, so much infact that we might have to go into hiding soon, to keep all this on the low low. Ya dig?
VJ - I do understand...but it might also give you a chance to feel more comfortable with the cameras. At any rate - I would love to meet you guys sometime - if not this year, for sure next, OK, OK?
Definatley Terry....and hey, we'll still be droppin by this board once in a while to give all you ninjas a hollar...ya know, We actually would like to take alot of blame for this hunt sucking so bad this year, i mean after all, we were the ones that said it would be found on the 6th clue....so if you ninjas want to place the blame on someone...give it to us, we can deal, we know ya'll will still have love for us...its all good
I also have to wonder..... which member or members of the Cooler Crew embody a "noodle monkey"?
Greg Sax rocks !
Thanks for the commentary, Greg
Yeah!!! We need to get him back north here to his home state!
The clue writers should be forced to eat oak leaves for boasting that they "devised ways to make it tough.

or even better, clue 12's dead squirrels!

They can think of "dead squirrels" and "carrion", but they can't come up with better clues?

I still think it's the hiding that sucked big time. Any idiot could have come up with a better hiding method...especially considering the weather.

yeah, i suppose you're right.
Perhaps it was someone who played 2nd base or shortstop at that very field when they were younger, and thought it was a good place to hide it?
Tom Kelly ?
The finder played there and lived nearby growing up. That's why she even thought to check it out. Rang up some childhood memories.
