Well considering how many clues this hunt has gone, I'm thinking I might still have a chance once I'm able to beat this cold.

Did Conway go 11 or 12? I can't remember... And this next clue will be 10? This may be the year we go all the way...

Then there's definitely hope for Kcog! :D

Only a couple hours, or It won't be found until tomorrow...

My opinion. While The Puck has been found at nite, that's kind'a the xception, not the rule.

I'm thinking "wide as triple E" means that it will be in that area; i.e., you've got to see something - three 'e's someway - and use them as reference points, a distance. The Med's gonna lay within there, between the e's that are the fartherst apart. Did I xplain that rite?

Green- I know where the triple E's are at Harriet- and its not Levee St! I agree with you, its in that area!

K T - (PFID:13d318) - 08:44am Jan 26, 2003 PST (# 11278 of 11464) Loco anyone? The first time I was there I saw "cooler Crew" written in the snow on the path. Was that you?

LOL! That was us KT!!!

well, I'm gonna bundle up and head out soon- Marley's home to pick me up. See yas in the park :-)

Hi Everyone...was gonna do some sloggin' but see I'm behind about 600 posts and doesn't seem like anyone still is absolutely, positively certain about a park, so I'm skippin' it.

It says the "sun ain't shining". If search by that you get song lyrics for Frank Sinatra and Golden Earring songs.

so,, i keep thinking of the lord of the rings episode of southpark,,, when butters must have his precious back, back door sluts 9, while the kids are on a quest to return it to video store... "the butters know'es the way"... so, i saw butter on here,, where is she?? does she know the way?

hey green... does "to my soul" part scare anyone else???

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 1:49 PM Permalink
green

So they were shure to stick it TO "where the sun ain't shining"?

And then put THAT inside of a Tripoley box...

WW... No... Makes me think o'Led Zepplin...

Good Afternoon!

Went down to HI, did a bit of hunting - Inks found a fishing rod - saw the film crew, Ares, Me2, Jake and then came home for a bit of lunch before Inks had to leave for work.

It's down there - that's my gut feeling - at least until we get the Cocoa Mocha clue that says it's elsewhere.

Biggest issue is figuring out where to look.

Didn't seem as cold as yesterday did. Maybe the wind has let up some.

been doing serious staring at the clues,,, i feel on the brink of a breath through, a vision, a break down, or just falling way behind on studies.. but something,, soon will come

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 1:58 PM Permalink
KC0GRN

People are still thinking it's at HI? I suppose it could be, but seems like the whole area has been picked over.. Perhaps it is though, I can't say for sure..

figure me,, the triple E, and the clues will lead to the medalion you see.

Hey WW! Haven't seen you in the parks yet.

There are still folks down at Scheffer. Makes me smile. Who woulda thunk that?

Ter, did "soul-lure" come to mean anything?

that damn tri-e,, try me try m you will see,,, ahhh,, driving the pants out of me!!!!!

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 2:01 PM Permalink
Terry

Not for me yet, Green.

I think it's mostly the mural with the shoes painted on the side of the building at Scheffer that has folks down there.

ive been out quite a bit hunting,, but usually at night,, or by day,,, and im in that od green,, which is the best one single color to blend into most natural backgrounds.

Got a bit of a new idea about the triple e thing.

That game is played with poker chips, right? Maybe the med is clued between a couple of chips.

It's the one clue that no one can agree on and is driving everyone nutz. Me thinks this might be what it's hidden in.

For one thing, I'm not sure if that area where the baitshop is is still considered Harriet, is it? That's almost nearing the other parks I think. Other thing, I was at the Bait Shop, marina, under the bridge from Midnight last night until about 3:30am. I only look where I can see all of the stuff that makes sense. I found a couple of good "triple E's" down there and I found the flag on the bait shop and caves for shelter and high bridge for big leap and all of that and I looked at every exact spot where you could see all things afformentioned, including the Cathedral and just out of view of the capitol and I scraped those areas to the cold hard dirt and it wasn't there. During years when the clues are solid, I've noticed that you have to be in pretty much the exact right spot and be able to see all things as they play out. After I left Harriet last night, I really did start doubting it, cuz if I hadn't had some doubt...I probably would have stayed out longer. Just a thought for all you HI heads!

Terry, like when they had it hidden in two things? I remember nobody could quite figure that out

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 2:06 PM Permalink
ThoseMedallingKids

As wide as triple E?

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 2:07 PM Permalink
green

That's an xcellent idea, Ter! *If* the chips are black... If coloured red, blue, yellow - sumpin' like that - I think it would beee too easy to be found.

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 2:08 PM Permalink
Terry

Regman - I saw those three Es too. Just not convinced that is what the cluewriter was seeing when he/she wrote the clues.

Kids - That's exactly what I'm thinking.

hey all, I am up from my nap. Ready to hunt again. As I said I was down by HI today and I just wasn't "feelin it". I really liked IM. The view of the cap was great, I just couldn't get the "triple e" or "red, white, and blue" to fit. If all those cooler heads are down at HI though, and it is there, it will be found today.

Me too Kids and Terry V. I think the "Wide As" part has more to do with it than people are giving credit. There are a zillion other ways that could have been worded if they just wanted you thinking of 3 "E's" the best I had heard so far was Wide As Triple = Weida's triple E -- EilEEn Weida. But, we know its not there. Oddly...still seems to fit the clues better than Harriet or anything else...damn!

Sun, 01/26/2003 - 2:10 PM Permalink
green

Good point, Kids. And they wouldn't use three poker chips, would they? T'would beee two.

ShovelMaster, I don't think the "big leap" is for the High Bridge.

If it's down in the rough brushy areas down there, this hunt could go awhile. Lots of trash and leaves and fallen trees to hunt around and through. This could go 12 clues if no one gets lucky to just happen upon it.

green

Never mind what I just said, Kids, I got it figured out. DUH!!! Ittiz two, not three and I get the wide!

I'm really tired!
