I didn't find any new parks with views of the capitol. Sounds like lots of folks hit the same places I did.
I just noticed now though that Lewis Park in the guide book says you can see the tip of the Capitol, but I couldn't see it. Maybe the trees have gotten bigger.
I had taken that park off my list and I may have to put it back on until I go do another look-see.
Hi Randy- actually, I was just wondering where he is too-I havnt talked to him since early thisafternoon. I would say dinner with his parents but it's kinda late for that.
Med2K3, I was down there, but didn't introduce myself. Sorry. I wore a green jacket, black winter hat, black windbreaker pants. I was standing between you and the little propane heater. I'll introduce myself tonight, if I remember correctly what you look like.
My mom just inquired as to why I couldn't "just get the clue online" as opposed to going down to Mom PP. I shook my head and said "you just don't get it do you?". This hunt is about the interaction between fellow hunters and friends and/or family. This year I am sencing that more than ever!

Get those reading glasses upgraded, TV. It doesn't say that for Lewis.
Marley posted-- you can see the Capitol from a park , but you can also see from that same park the PARK that the medallion is in.(either that park or another in clear view exactly :) -I am glad I am not the only crazy one to think about that
I don't think it's karazy....just been trying to make it make sense to write something like that into the clues.
Thanks Med2K3. I'll C ya down there then.
Looking forward to it

I didn't go to Swede Hollow. No dead cats.

Thanks TMK.
Ok. I was just wonderin if anyone was as lucky as me today.

Yeah, a few years ago. the film crew took it.
Don't worry about it, I'm slowly but surely putting names to faces
This is a link to see some of us hunters. Maybe we're all not a famous as Tim but you'll get the gist anyway. ;-)
Tim, don't you have a beard and a beer gut by now? hehe

If someone doesn't want me to post that link I can delete it if you want.
That was the treasure I found today at swede hollow
CM- still working on the beard, got the gut, although I am not at liberty to say what its from. Mountain Dew probably...
Look at all the medallion type names that show up on the lurker list off and on during the day. I bet people in other threads here wonder about that.
Yea. Almost as much fun as finding the paint sniffers bag o paint and the hypodermic needle!

if ya go there don't look in the hollow tree or under the pile of sticks.
sencing = sensing
Tim, I've had the exact same conversation with people asking me that too.
Steve is rubbing off on me.

Star Trek convention?
It does too say it for Lewis!!!!
Read it yourself!
TV wins!
Oh...yeah, your right. Boy was I detailed.
Map Guy: first chance I have had to log on today; where the heck is Lewis Park---and I thought I knew all the parks!
Thanks
Online dispute #1: Who knows more about Steve's book, Steve or Terry?
Terry!
you must have to stand back on Wayzata St.
I think I'll find a way to print this out and frame it.
I can't believe I gotcha like that Mapper.
Maybe we'll go past there tonight and see if we can see the lighted dome.
TV wins! Page 49 Queen Malley.
just don't copy the book
copyright joe!
Perhaps I should delete that self-incriminating post...quickly.
It's just another happy day for Rand McNally
;-)
Yeah, Scribe is leading the mob to hunt down those who try to copy the guide
Do it if you must...but I know.
bumper convention?
I don't have your book yet, Map Guy; SORRY
Next year I'll be issuing the French version.

That'll give me a chance to brush up on my French from 34 years ago.
Queen, I may be down in the line tonight.
