just drove through highland and linwood

no snow cover on south side of park

no parking at Highland at all along 7th or windy hill.

won't be out there at 2 with you 3m- gonna hit somewhere else -

the area on the south side of highland is where they dump all the grass clippings...could be tough in that crap.

parking is basically next to the golf course.

its a craphole...so #1 on my list.

Not sure I like the obvious; telling us what it's hidden in. Expect a lot of nut goodie wrappers around the park. Just like all the dove boxes at como

I don't know if they've done it in past years, but this year it says that it's not on construction sites. It made me wonder if it's going to be Highland and they're telling people to stay off construction sites. But then again, every year people think it's at Highland, so they have to save their butts and tell them it's not there.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 8:16 AM Permalink
KITCH

didn't last year we "noodle" a "salted nut roll" somehow???
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 8:18 AM Permalink

I remember looking at the pearson's website for something....

maybe it was to get the big bar for zeph...

Didn't they donate a box of nut rolls to send to Zephy? I thought Treasure Chest had gotten it from them. That may be what you were looking at or got your attention.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 8:23 AM Permalink
ares

they said construction sites were off limits last year too, for whatever that's worth.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 8:24 AM Permalink

they donated a box of nut goodie's fot he cause.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 8:24 AM Permalink
ThoseMedallingKids

Okay, then I'm not going to worry about it too much. It's not really about the park, but about the people not quite smart enough to stay out of construction sites while looking for the treasure.

damn... its supposed to be 40 on thursday....

If this thing lasts that long, the medallion might just melt, due to too much hot weather....

either that, or the candy wrapper its in, will become rather messy, and sticky....

I dont care how much its worth....I dont want chocolatey fingers.

CM will post that after he gets verification from New Daddy and someone else. He's just double checking to be sure everything is correct.

Finally, a clue I can figure out! LOL!

How about the possibility of the med being buried in a snowplow pile of snow? That would be "sufficient" snow to hide the med through the run of the hunt.

It was rather funny. Got that paper last night and by line two I was saying the same thing everyone else was.

I just had to sit down and worry for a bit.

It's almost to easy.

Did a quick runby of Highland yesterday, during the day. Not because of clue #2, which wasn't yet out, but because it's nearby.

There is some construction, but not as much as I had thought. There is quite a bit of undisturbed area there, and the bridge over Montreal is now open on both ends.

I had personally ruled it out, but upon further review, I think it is just as likely as any other place. Really much bigger than meets the eye from the road.

All I have to add is that I really prefer the salted nut roll.

hey... I had one or two ( :pbpt: )of those in Iraq... The guys from Louisiana had never heard of them. They loved them.

HINT HINT TO ALL PEARSON CANDY PEOPLE HINT HINT

Thanks to whoever set that up with them last year!

Pearsons Nut Goodie seems like a stretch?

First line - Son of Pear (Pearsons)

Second Line - ...Nut... (Nut)

Third line - ...baddie, which is opposite of (Goodie)

Pearson Nut Goodie is covering the prize. Period. It couldn't be easier.

A box??? it was like 12 cases...

They lasted about 3 days... :pbpt:

I am all for that.... Boxmeyer said I was gonna love it...

It must be at Hidden Falls, in a hole in a tree, which would keep the snow and ice intact... in eyeshot of the parking lot.... oops, I said too much :worried:
