That's funny, because there are some people trying to form a hunting group at the PP who call themselves the Willy Wonka's.

I think I remember reading something about them looking for the golden ticket.

hmmm- what about ice and snow being the year the carnival was called 'ice and snow' - on the button? what year was that and what park was it in that year?

I have boot hockey games at 6:15 and 7:15. It's going to be nice to get my mind of this frickin hunt. I just feel helpless sitting here at home....

damn... we used to play boot hockey all the time back in highschool...

all of us losers who never learned how to skate for whatever reason, used to gang up and go to Phalen and take over the good rink....

After work I did some drive-bys/arounds to get a good feel for snow coverage.

I checked out Marydale, North Dale, Horton and Como. Not much snow and no huge piles of it anywhere that I saw...only little bumps of snow at curbs from the plows.

It is going to be interesting to see where this hunt leads us. Everytime I'm in Como, I get a feeling we'll be spending time there soon.

Hopefully its in a park with a beach.... I want to go swimming at the re-hash, if its warm enough.

I was at Marydale after work today. Another nice park I had never been to! Found 3 other hunters but no medallion...

One of the girls opened her 3-ring binder to show me all of her park maps, which were xerox copies right out of Mappy's THG

The one I had I found in a park. It was frozen real hard and tasted like plastic.

That's unreal. You have to get yourself out to the store and get one of each to try them.

I know it's way to early to look to much into these early clues, but I can't help myself.

Clue #1: "hard to park" ... "look for snow and ice" could mean to make the hunt harder given "global warming" that the puck is hidden in a new or unusal place. The lack of mention of St Paul could be an indicator that it's elsewhere in Ramsey County. Okay, so here's the big stretch. Maybe "snow and ice" could be mention of snow sculpting at the Roseville Ice Oval which is kinda kitty corner to Central Park in Roseville.

At this point, evildoer, anything is possible and it's always good to keep an open mind.

I think in order to properly get into the spirit of the hunt that I must sample the Nut Goodie.

In order to understand where the medallion is hidden I must first understand the Nut Goodie.

That is the only way.

My hubby, Inks and I have been hunting since before we were married. It makes this our 35th year.

Prior to that, I noodled clues with my Mom who would go out hunting during the night with a neighbor.
