2012 Clues
So its back to the drawing board for next year
to find a spot so deep and drear.
Harder to reach all you whiners
than those buried Chilean miners.
Next year's clues will inspire dread
requiring knowledge of languages dead,
Higher math rocket science
disbanding every hunters alliance.
I take your leave. I bid adieu.
I go in search of the perfect clue.
Prepare to hike hard dig deep and delve.
Will have a grand party in 2012.

I had this thought while trying to turn off the brain. The earliest hunts used certificates in a treasure box. How weird for there to be not a medallion, but a certificate?
The hunt is 60 years old
This is the 63rd hunt (2 ea in 53 and 07).
1952 Treasure was found on north side of west seventh street and leland street intersection.
U sound like a cool mom.
I also typically wear a lion hat - looks like a stuffed animal on my head. It gets a lot of laughs.
I suppose I should rest up for the long week ahead.
Great hunt so far.
CLUE NO. 2
It's time to get this off our chest:
Mix treasured lore into your quest.
Triple score provides a clue;
So do the colors red and blue.
In a chest
The clue is provided by both the PP and also Gabes
good job J
Although the 60 year noodle to Highland sounds very viable as well
Satan Joe!
Although it shouldn't be too bad since most won't want to get the actual paper clue anyway since they'll already have it an hour earlier.
On a side note - They honored the $5 coupon with no minimum purchase but you need to present the actual paper coupon and not from your phone. They have $1 off drinks and food specials on the apps. Not bad at $3 specialty beers and $3.50 brand name drinks.
So anyone think it's a blessing or is a curse the weather is going to be so warm this year and there will be way more people out hunting than normal by the weekend?

Hopefully, they're only charging whatever a paper would cost for a ticket...
Nice to know about the $5 coupon though, and I would bet that they would accept a printed coupon from online...just has to be on paper, right?
FWIW, I checked my email this morning and I received the clues almost exactly on time in my email as they said.
I hope so but at the same time I hope not! way to far to drive for me! lol I hope to see your mom soon I missed talking to your brother at the PDG also!
"Brunot slightly rearranged the "premium" squares of the board and simplified the rules; he also changed the name of the game to "Scrabble," a real word which means "to scratch frantically.""
To scratch frantically = scratch the ground, use a rake, cause it's hidden in the woods/under leaves.
(Heads out of the gutters, gentlemen)
I for one will not pay a bar to get my paper!
I really had no idea, but my buddy Russel (the love muscle, we used to call him in high school) is a great noodler. I gave him a call after I read your post. He was just finishing feeding his pet Alabama black snake, Willy. Poor thing is a one-eyed snake. It lost an eye in a cock fight. Anyhow, I digress. He told me, and I quote:
"What's at the place I love? Shafts! What's at the place I love? Sticks! What's at the place I love? Muscle! The Munitions plant! All the rocket shafts, all the dynamite sticks, all the muscle that worked on explosives there. Man, Pocket rockets aimed at the Soviets, tent poles from the sleeping quarters, purple headed soldiers working there (who knew the army had purple helmets? The more you know!) and, man, they blew up more shit there than when the Schwartz Sausage factory blowed up. I'd bet my middle leg it's hidden near the old munitions plant!"
Then he abruptly ended the conversation cause he was late to a meeting with is friends Dick and the twins Jimmy and Peter Johnson. Don't know if this helps, but I thought I'd throw it out here.
I don't have any of my hunting supplies unpacked BC my school books take up too much room... but going off memory and lore. I'm thinking previous park where ice palace was. I also think that park may have a golf course in it.
Red and blue -to didn't the french immersion school clue have something that's Ted and blue? Also I like the idea of red and blue for some reason to equal an icee red and blue are primary flavors big fat happy cold bear in a sweater.
//Wow, why are the keys getting foogggoapap f;fal;.....
as their team colors. Where did Brewer go to high school or college?
Joe.
