2012 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt - Tony Schmidt Park
2012 Clues 

So its back to the drawing board for next year 
to find a spot so deep and drear. 
Harder to reach all you whiners 
than those buried Chilean miners. 

Next year's clues will inspire dread 
requiring knowledge of languages dead, 
Higher math rocket science 
disbanding every hunters alliance. 

I take your leave. I bid adieu. 
I go in search of the perfect clue. 
Prepare to hike hard dig deep and delve. 
Will have a grand party in 2012.

So, I was in Highland Sunday, near the picnic pavilion, and came across a hole near the trees. It was really peculiar, full of WET leaves, mud, etc. I dig the thing out, and theres a rubber ball inside. I made absolute sure nothing else was in the hole, then took the ball home. I opened it up with a razor and lo and behold....nothing.

For a few minutes, I was sure I found the puck inside that damn ball. Now, after the fact, I find it rather cruel there was a ball hidden in a hole like that right during puck season.

It also sounds like the song does a word wrong again. Instead of leisure they say "pleasure" are these little incorrect words meaning something?

That sentence didn't sound right when reading or saying it. Though as someone just posted, the reference could actually be saying There is a road that's interfacial.

The word interfacial, I am going to have to ponder this one overnight.

Bobby posting here at Gabe's on Melissa's iPad ... I know that sentence sounds odd, but it makes sense to me. Say it out loud... Seems phrased as such to keep the poetic rhythm in the stanza. Maybe a comma? A road there is, that's interfacial.

Sounds like they are saying Leah sure (my attempt at phonetic spelling) which could be mistaken for pleasure. Not everyone pronounces it "leesure "

I don't like it, but like Ares says, Yoda is the clue writer.

And why rhyme with leisure over pleasure. (I know the Brits pronounce it like pleasure. Are any parks heavily British?)

And what is up with able? That doesn't rhyme at all.
