2012 - Tony Schmidt Park

Submitted by ares on
2012 Clues

So its back to the drawing board for next year
to find a spot so deep and drear.
Harder to reach all you whiners
than those buried Chilean miners.

Next year's clues will inspire dread
requiring knowledge of languages dead,
Higher math rocket science
disbanding every hunters alliance.

I take your leave. I bid adieu.
I go in search of the perfect clue.
Prepare to hike hard dig deep and delve.
Will have a grand party in 2012.

There's also a capital B and a capital C at the beginning of two other lines.

If clue 2 does allude to Scrabble, maybe it just means "letters".

Battle creek again? Unlike some folks, it is not a favorite of mine. Not going there yet.

BC isn't a favorite of mine either.

But I will go where the clues lead us if it isn't found by the weekend.

Gabe's is so close to us, and though it would be fun, I plan to be in nightclothes by 9:30.

I vow to get out one of these nights (stupid newborn....) And it pains me that Gabes is one of the closest bars to my house, and I'm missing out of most of the bar noodling this year.

I am really scared that with the other little mistakes ( or what we think are mistakes) that it winds up being at Acorn, and I have tossed it out of my possibilities because of no place to cook. :crying:

...is that's interfacial.

"that's" an abbreviation for that is.

So, I read about the found cache and I'm trying to figure out which one it is. I can only remember using three of those chests at Highland. I don't *think* any of them had buttons in them. I used to hide about a dozen caches during the hunt, with 5 buttons in each. Those were in oleo tubs.

Can anyone describe the location? I'd like to re-activate it since it's still there.

Yes, I know. was wondering if there are other Lief Ericksson stuff around. Hey, just killing time til 10:30.

Anyone check the location of the first medallion hunt?

It was in the woods close to the edge of Fort Road..if my memory serves itself up correctly ie: at that time it was called West 7th

I'm listening to the State of the Union, getting comfy, figuring out what clothes I'm wearing to work tomorrow, and wishing I was going out hunting tomorrow instead of working.

Just to be out looking would be great - whether it's the right park or not.

I couldn't locate the weeds persay, but I got to the approximate location once, you certainly could hide a medallion there again if you wanted to.

Oleo? Did you include the yellow tablet? (you have to be a certain age to get that). Apologies for the aside.

"A road there is that's interfacial." We are all struggling with how that is grammatically incorrect. do we have any linguists here? Is the order of that sentence correct in any other language (noun first, etc), other then Yodaese?
Tue, 01/24/2012 - 7:24 PM Permalink
ares

not in any of the latin languages. though thy really don't use a lot of the use there in that context in those languages either, at least not as a single word.

don't know if this was mentioned, but triple score scrabble...could that reference three same letters in the park name, like three "E"s in Cherokee. Seems a little early to point to the park in that way, but would be cool if it did.

I'm here. J is better with languages than me. That said, the sentence would be better if the words were moved around. Thus an anagram isn't what you are looking for. You need some sort of puzzle that keeps the words or letters in order.

Because you noodlers are an exceptional lot and were unscrambling quite quickly, we've removed all punctuation and capitalization from this scramble.
