Just a heads up though, there is a Wild game that night, against Detroit. Its going to be nuts trying to park/get in right around that time, however the game does start at 7.
Let's do McGovern's then because that's what was said originally, and those who made the original suggestion never agreed to anything else or even acknowledged they were aware of another suggestion. There is a parking lot for McGovern's that is on Chestnut, about two blocks south of the place.

Right now we seem to be trying to gather at Me2's place. but we can't stau here either because I'm allergic to the dogs. So either back to Buca's, or maybe Fabulous Fern's, the more traditional home of my hunt's rehashes. Call me at 651-276-5230 to find out what's going on if need be.
I can't say I was sorry about missing McGovern's. That place on a Wild night is just too much. Too many people, too much no place to park, etc., etc. The only thing I'd miss was the crew.
But Buca's or Fabulous Ferns! UGH!! Wish we could be there.
Our cable internet got installed up here today...and we got started on our Christmas cookie baking. Not bad for a cloudy, wet day in the north country.
Sorry we missed it guy's, we actually went to the wild game last night, hubby got club level tickets from work. we were talking about trying to make it out but I didn't have any phone #'s with me so we ended up at bleachers, which is ok since it's close to home and I won't drink if I'm too far away from home.
I went to McGovern's, but there didn't seem to be anywhere to park that wasn't way too far away or cost quite a bit, so I went to Me's house. But the two dogs and three cats proved to be hard on my allergies since I'm allergic to both. After a bit of that I wasn't feeling too well anymore and I did still have packing to do so I decided to head back home. Ares and TC were supposedly on their way to Me2's but hadn't shown up by the time I left and Me2 had to go get her husband, so it seems things didn't really work out.
Maybe next time we should try Fabulous Fern's again. I have Thursday open. Or if we do do it on a Thursday, we could also go to a place called the Valley Lounge in Eagan (13 and Yankee Doodle Rd.) where they have karaoke on Thursdays.
Did you have those club level tixs behind the nets and in the second tier of seats? I also get tixs from work but I always give them away. Those 70 dollar seats actually suck if you ask me...
yeah, we were section c 37 row 4, I have to say they weren't too bad except that they make the seats so close together that even I felt crunched, I would hate to be a big guy and try to enjoy the game in a seat like that! last time we went I had suite tickets, those are much better! you get much more elbow room!
I had seats like those for Paul McCartney-on the side of the stage CLUB-row 4- I thought they weren't bad if you want to take advantage of the CLUB (drinks and restaurant). I would do it again if its for listening to the music- now for Neil Diamond, only seats around the stage within 10 rows. gotta see him shake that toosh ;)
I've had second thoughts about Thursday. I really need to do some final moving and some unpacking and that will be my only chance. What about a Cooler Christmas Party?
