For her tempting call could well end it all
And with the dead soldiers they’d be sleepin’.

They’re simply sleeping through the winter days.

Buts if ye shall claims it, ye can not stays.”

faithless lover cast aside
This is how she came to be
Lorelei of the sea
Hopes destroyed she wanted to find
certain death peace of mind
Now you wonder who is she
Lorelei of the sea
Many tales I've been told
of sailors having died
After seeing a mermaid known as
Lorelei
Faithless lover that is me
and she siren of the sea
Next time that the seagulls fly
Don't you cry sweet Lorelei
Seagulls fly
when mermaids cry
Those tears won't dry
for Lorelei
Seagulls fly
when mermaids cry
Those tears won't dry
for Lorelei
The guilt is mine I was untrue
the question is what am I to do
All I know is I got to try
try to find sweet Lorelei
Make amends for what's been done
cause I believe that she's the one
And I will go where seagulls fly
try to find sweet Lorelei
Seagulls fly
when mermaids cry
Those tears won't dry
for Lorelei
Seagulls fly
when mermaids cry
Those tears won't dry
for Lorelei
There she is I hear her cry
asking me if I will die
There ain't nothing I won't do
for you, Lorelei, Lorelei
Seagulls fly
when mermaids cry
Those tears won't dry
for Lorelei
Seagulls fly
when mermaids cry
Those tears won't dry
(oh, I'm coming for you)
for Lorelei
Seagulls fly
when mermaids cry
Those tears won't dry
for Lorelei
Seagulls fly

Those tears won't dry

swede?
As gentle as a butterfly she moves without a sound
I call her on the telephone, she says be there by eight
TonightÂ’s the night sheÂ’s moving in and I can hardly wait
The way she moves, ooh-ooh
I gotta say
Lorelei letÂ’s live together
Brighter than the stars forever
Lorelei letÂ’s live together
Brighter than the stars forever
Her eyes become of paradise, she softly speaks my name
She brightens every lonely night, no oneÂ’s quite the same
She calls me on the telephone, she says be there by eight
TonightÂ’s the night sheÂ’s moving in, itÂ’s time to celebrate
The way she moves, ooh-ooh
I gotta say
Lorelei letÂ’s live together
Brighter than the stars forever
Lorelei letÂ’s live together
Brighter than the stars forever
By Styx - as in branches :eyeroll:
I found one about Lorelei by Eagle Eye Cherry and that would have put me down by Winona or Red Wing - and I wasn't going there.
thats what I just said...heh
BBIAB
I have two parks and it's too dang cold to spend more than a few minutes out looking at a time.
Dinner bell is ringing louder here.
FWIW, I think "stars with an eye" are stairs
Didn't we already google this stuff in a different hunt?
I dont remember that one.
