Good Evening!

By now you're probably all at the PP. Because I get to read the paper everyday as part of my new job, I have all the clues clipped and have been noodling while I'm working. I do think Como is the front runner in my way of thinking for now...and for the reasons stated here earlier. I do hope we can get out to hunt some, but it won't be tomorrow.

I might.... be able to get out and hunt tomorrow. The boys are going to Grammys for the day and night.

Lemme know if anyone wants to hook up after noon or something out that way.

To be our winner consider a place for beginners

Then start moving up and around

As you hit your stride search for a heavenly guide

That's actually in the ground

Next do something big and look for a famed pig

From a spot with a long view of history

But you won't be hotter too close to the water

You'll have to branch out to solve our mystery

sorry about not posting the clue last night gang, I gave mine to my buddy because he lost his in the hustle and bustle of figuring out the clue.

I'm defaulting on Como because the 2nd clue and no one has really hit this clue out of the park in my mind. Parts of it fit here or there but it fits just as well at Como as anywhere else so I'm sticking there. Hopefully this vague clue and the weather prolong this thing atleast another day so we can meet up again tonight!

L'etoile du nord, Minnesota state motto. Is their a plaque somewhere?

Could the famous pig be the Saints mascot? His name is Ham Solo this season.

A place for beginners- the beginning of a trail, a place for amateur athletes of a certain sport, circus juventas (circus school), something involving kids

start moving up and around- have to go up a hill or rise to a higher location

heavenly guide thats in the ground- star or moon sign on a lawn or put in the ground, a brick in a walkway, a symbol that is walked over

look for a famed pig- looking for pig from Kitch's list, or something involving Pigs Eye Parrant. A street, a restaurant/store, a landmark, a statue, something dedicated like a bench.

spot with a long view of history- view of the history center, view of something historical that is far away, seeing something historical that is long like the torpedo in como

won't be hotter too close to the water- water is in the park, whether lake or river or watertower. the area of a large park is near the water, but don't search close to the water. could mean it's in a park with no water, but I think that's not the case

have to branch out- look under a branch to find it, or a branch sticking out of a tree in a strange way will point you to the spot.

The heavenly guide still glitters before them and a destination of their journey is ...

refers to the The star of Bethlehem specifically as the heavenly guide.

I think they're referring to the North Star as the heavenly guide. But not the former team, the state motto. There must be a plaque somewhere. Are the Capitol grounds off-limits?

but then yeah...maybe the rain will prolong the hunt and those of us willing to get drenched will be victorious!

I went driving around Como today to see if I could piece anything together. Nothing seemed to fit. And I drove all around the place. West picnic ground parking lot, como town parking lot, carousel parking lot, east picnic ground parking lot, hamms waterfall parking lot. I think I drove down so many streets, just looking for anything that may have triggered an idea. Nothing sprung to mind. It was wet out too, so I didn't want to get out to look at all. I didn't feel compelled to get out. At this point I'm just scouting stuff out, trying to get an idea of what's there. Right now I'm just stumped.
