Clues for the Medallion Hunt 

Each Day during the week of February 6th through the 10th a new clue will be posted on this page by 8:00 am. 





Clue #1 
From the Edge I was sent 
and on public land I will be found 
The Hunt is on, Good Luck to you 
Did I mention there's a red tassel too? 

Clue #2 
A shovel you will not need 
A gentle lift to the sky and you will see 
This was once a movie ground 
But now there's a treasure waiting to be found. 

Clue #3 
Postcards are fine, but we're a little blue 
Mr. Snowman medallion, where are you? 
Not to worry with the Spring thaw 
The will return from his travels as good as new. 
But lets not let Mr. Snowman down, 
this year's medallion is on the ground. 

Clue#4 
Much like the cows of the roaming free era 
There is plenty to explore in this area. 
And by finding this envelope you too will be 
A piece of North St. Paul history. 

Found by me2 on Feb. 9th, 2006 about 3ish-pm --$400

ha! Nah.. I'm going to check the snowman.. and anything on margaret between 36 and 7th.

Roommate told me there used to be a travel agency on margaret, also, the snowman moved from 7th and margaret to 36 and margaret. Hope they don't mind I'm out there this late, but I gotta try.

Back again, looked for about 40 mins. Some lady at a bar came out when I parked and told me to look near Polar Video, apparently where it is used to be a movie theater...

Double checked Franklyn park, and every scrap of public land along the Margaret between 36 and 7th. Gah I've been all over the place on this hunt. Hopefully the clue in the morning will spell something out.

Mr. Med, if you read this, I'm going to be up and ready to go at 8, egram me if you want to meet up anywhere.

Shoot I don't know where to look anymore. History center, the snowman, down margaret, the UEC, Southwood? I'd be suprised if this gets found today, I think they want it to go to the last clue.

Sounds like I need to be setup in an area in the morning.

Cowern Elemantary school is the just north of the little orchard area/park that I stumbled upon the other day, and is just north west of Southwood park on Margaret.

(In my earlier post I think I called it Clemson)

According to me2's research, it could seriously still be anywhere in NSP. I suppose it could be near Cowern, that'd fit nicely, but not with all the clues. In fact it seems like all the clues point you to different areas (hence why I've been bouncing all over the place trying to find the darn thing).

So Jana says to me "I don't know if im going to my mom's or to Silver Lake. Are you coming? I only have an hour" Thinking shes going to her mom's, I decide to head home. 10 minutes later she has it. Of course, I spent 2 1/2 hours with her today looking for it...... Congrats Jana.

Eh, I don't do mock hunts. Only so much hunting a person can do, and usually I sound silly enough to my co-workers, family, friends etc. just doing the official ones.
