I was never that big in to any one of our a-hole Presidents to care to talk to them!!! because of the choice words I would have for them would have got me put away for a LONG TIME!!!!!
I remember calling a phone number as a kid that we thought was THE White House only to find out later in life that it was a restaurant named The White House. :eyeroll:
I remember the old Ghostbusters - Ecto 1 toy that they came out with, when I was little.... it had all kinds of stickers to put on it... one of which was a 1-800 number.... I forget what it was.... but when we called it, one day, wondering who it was for, we ended up getting Northwest Airlines....
didnt know what to say.... we were like 8 or 9.... so we hung up...
and then called back, to see if we had the right number....
my friend ended up saying "uhh.... are the ghostbusters there?".... the lady laughed at us, and hung up...
On December 19, 2007 at 8:45 a.m. Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their Police Officer Elves will gather to bring toys to children whoÂ’s Holiday Season has been interrupted or threatened by illness. At about 9:15 a.m. SantaÂ’s three wheeled Harley Davidson sleigh, followed by an entourage of motor cycles, horses, and officers will leave for ChildrenÂ’s Hospital and arrive at about 9:30a.m.
That kind of reminds me of a guy here in SSP. I went to a friends father's funeral yesterday and after the dinner a couple of my friends and I gave a 99 year old man a ride back to work. He goes to work every day . It's a family business and his 68 year old son also works there. The son kids that he would like to retire, but has to wait for his father to retire first. This guy is sharp as a tack. He told us what streets to take to avoid stop signs, and he was right!
That's what a MN fishing license (and most other DNR licenses) looks like, but you do not need a license for houses this season. Maybe dark houses.
But, was that the guy who got the fish taken away because he caught it out of season? DNR heard about a big Muskie, season closed 12-15-07 due to a change in regs after the rules books were printed, the pic with a date was on the internet, and DNR confiscated the fish from the mounting place. He got off with a warning since there was conflicting information.
I gotta post a picture of my big deck so everyone can see what you're talking about. Right now it's cold and dry so it doesn't look it's best. I'll try and find one where it's hot and freshly cleaned up.
FYI, 52-inch muskie caught on Minnetonka. Apparently this guy also kept the fish, however the DNR caught wind of it, confiscated the fish and gave the guy a ticket for an out of season catch.. Whoops...
An angler who caught and kept a 52-inch muskie on Lake Minnetonka recently learned the hard way that the DNR shortened the muskie season this year. The DNR seized the fish and issued a warning tag.
Instead of running through Feb. 24, the season ended Dec. 15. Muskie anglers themselves asked the DNR to protect muskies from winter fishing, and the DNR agreed.
"They are quite vulnerable during that time," said Linda Eastwood-Erickson, DNR fisheries program manager. "We thought it was a good idea."
Under the rule change, the muskie season will end Dec. 1 beginning this year.
I often thought this would be funny at TARGET.
Thanks Kitch I needed a good laugh!!!

Oddly enough, I want to see MadDog's concrete slab :pbpt:
I need to see how he can keep his slab up and off the ground like my deck.
I actually have a patio that my deck goes down to that has pavers laid end to end
They both need pressure washing this spring. It's been awhile since I cleaned either of them.
she has a V.S. charge card ran up to $8656
umm...well he's not really my hero but how's that possible.
