enjoy - going to SF for a night with my girls Fri. going back to SF for a night with one of my girls, and one of my bands sat. Sunday - getting all my chores done, and cooking an awesome dinner, now relaxing with a bottle of Miro Petite Sirah. mmmmmmm.
Enjoy: Having a great time at the Xcel tonight watching the Wild get their record setting 7th straight win and 47th win of the season. Good stuff I tells ya.
Where were you Timmers? No sign of you in your seats for tonight's big game. :frown:
Enjoy hearing these words this morning at my son's All Star Awards breakfast at school on his 13th birthday!
Selected to receive this award because:
"Of his determination and desire to learn, quality work, and outstanding attitude! Justin works well with those around him and is a wonderful role model for others. We appreciate his contribution to the sucess of our school."
Having the most wonderful husband in the world who is so understanding about my crazy schedule with chemo, kids and caregiving... and how important it is that I spend as much time as possible with dad... a husband who steps in and does Mr. mom duty, fixing dinner, doing homework and picking up and dropping off kids. Even going so far as taking a day off of work so I could be at the hospital and he could be home with the kids. Honey, I know with your work and school schedule you are busier than (as you put it) a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. Thank you for all your support and love... I am so blessed!!!
I actually saw a one legged man in an ass kicking contest, not too long ago (wrestler - Zach Gowen).... and he got beat up pretty bad... :eyeroll: :goofy:
In a related story, "Police in Duluth are looking for a banker robber with one leg named Vince...they have no idea what the other leg is named."
enjoy: having my lovely wife make my favorite dinner of fettucine alfredo, getting a yummy cold stone birthday cake, giving me lots of thoughtful presents, and getting me a card that makes me tear up when i read it.
enjoy: the show last night at the Fillmore. Saw The Feeling, Rocco Delucca, and Mat Kearney. The music was good. But being in that concert hall, has to be one of the most awesome experiences ever.
oh, and they had a poster for the night, which of course I will be framing and hanging next to my howie day one from the last Fillmore show.
Every major show at the Fillmore has a special poster printed for it. The old ones from the days of Janis Joplin etc. are worth $bank$. I'm hoping one of the up and commers I see, hit the big time, so in 10 years I can say...
Oh and they give you red delicious apples. I'm not sure why, but they do. I think it might be so you can make an apple bong mid concert, as people were lighting up everywhere around me.
well then.. I'm in trouble. I have 6 apples here in my office. <--- druggie
If anyone is interested!!!! I realize it's a "skool nite" and all, but the same tour that I saw last night is playing First Ave NEXT Wednesday the 28th of March. Tix aren't sold out yet - they are $18 the site said, and it really was a spectacular show to see.
Even if you aren't familiar with the bands, their music transcends genres and is really really good.
congrats, man!
May you have many, many more wonderful years together.
Whitney lost another yesterday-
lost one 2 weeks ago

it cost me $10 last night
she placed both under her pillow

seeing her excitement in the morning
she's been saving for baby clothes and a car seat and stroller for Ben- Ben is her baby Doll
Seeing Amy and Nana having a teaparty this morning. Amy LOVES having tea with Nana.
