I had the spicy shrimp platter. They promoted it as an aphrodisiac. Not sure why though.

My neighbors had one of these. They put mirrored film on all the back windows to keep the kids from melting. Not tinted film, mind you - MIRRORED. That angled back window assured that NO ONE would follow them within 1/4 mile if it was before 3 in the afternoon. That reflection was blinding!

I feel sorry for everyone who had to drive those 60's station wagons. Well, no, not really, since this is what I was driving ----

Beastie Boys What Comes Around Lyrics:

Soft overripe fresh skeezed California females

With 3-inch cherry red press-on Lee nails

Reach into my mind for the rhymes I'm seeking

Like a garbage bag full overflowing now it's leaking

Rapunzel Rapunzel let down your hair

So I can climb up and get into your underwear

Rat soup eating test cheating no business punk

You're insecure born in the junkyard with the junk

You've gone wet look crazy and messed with your head

You f*cked around and wound up with the bald skin head

You're all mixed up like pasta primavera

Why'd you throw that chair at Geraldo Rivera man

Cause one man's ceiling is another man's floor

So get that money out of your ass you whore

I brought her upstairs onto the roof

I dogged your wife and she is a doofus

What goes around, comes around

Clean B cleaning the G spot you know that we've got

Dolemite's house and you have not

Look out my window look over the city

With two black eyes your girl ain't that pretty

Why you wanna beat that brat with a bat

Why you wanna treat your girl like that

Living in the rat race smoking rat weed

You reap what you sow when you plant the seed

Bum cheese on rye with ham and prosciutto

Got more Louie than Phil Rizzuto

What goes around, comes around

futbol!! I love that. We have several restaurants that totally rock the Futbol on Fox Soccer Channel every day, all day. Makes for better eating I think!

What on earth did you order that needed interpreting?

Funny thing, out here, the guys use lonche for lunch as opposed to almuerzo (sp?) and they never call chips by their actual name (totopos) - they will be speaking full spanish, and then say chips. That cracks me up.

I was dreading it, but now I am excited...

My Loralyn turns 5 next week so I am planning her Birthday Party for Sunday.. Girls Only Tea Party. 8 little 4 & 5 yr old girls with their moms coming over for Tea Party Hats/Gloves/Boas were encouraged.

Been getting calls from all the moms today - the girls are very excited to attend and want to know if they can wear dresses too! Moms are excited too.

We are doing everything mini size - mini cookies, mini biscuts, some fruit... Lyn's doesn't really like cake (just the frosting) so I'm doing up a bunch of mini cupcakes that I will tier up like a big cake.

Lyn and I are getting very excited!
