I have a 7 year old car that has a windshield almost constantly sandblasted by dust from trucks on the freeway. When the sun is at the right angle, all the tiny pock marks make the windshield really hard to see through. I've always hesitated about using insurance to get it replaced since it was never truly 'broken'...
This morning a pebble got launched from behind a pickup and left a permanent "mosquito" dead center in my drivers' line of sight on the windshield. It's busted now, dammit. Now all I have to do is find a warm place to get the windshield replaced and pay my deductible.
That's what my insurance people told me too - that it is so important safety-wise that they want you to take it in right away whether it is dings or truly broken. They can repair certain dings and your glass company should give you instructions and a temporary repair kit to carry in your glove box so dings don't grow into cracks.
City Auto Glass in So. St. Paul. They'll come out to your place of business during the day, or you can bring it there and wait in their nice, warm lobby. My daughter Abby works there.
Getting on Ableminds from work once again. I'm alone for the first time today. Scary but I have you friends to help me get through it now.
Boss is in Chna until Dec 23 - then Christmass holiday so we are closed for 3 days then I took vacation so I wont see him until January 5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tonight i'm going to a christmas party - ok THE christmas party of everyone in the industry who is lucky enough to get an invite. (it's always awesome, bizzare and way over the top done)
then, less than a week of work, and I'm off from the 19th to the 5th.
oooh fun! I wasn't talking about kitch  I was talking about the new phone - have fun! oh wait, don't have fun with kitch, I meant have fun with the new phone. I think I just said the same thing.
Even though the dreams I had during my 5 hours were stressful, they were dreams nonetheless. Which means I was sleeping anyway.
It's a wonder what affect sleep has on a persons body. Both positive and negative. I feel great today where as I felt like driving off of a bridge yesterday. All because of sleep.
and maybe not taking a bunch of 'as needed' medications helped as well
I can see why the military uses sleep deprivation as a torture tool. I would have told you where all of my secret hideouts were if you asked me yesterday.
cant wait for this one...
It opens here, on January 9th.
Mickey Rourke has already been nominated for a couple of awards for it.
Its what got him over in TNA, and at one point, made him a world champion...
I do like the feud between him and Shelton though...
Cant wait for that flick, they've been talking about that for like 7 years...
Mickey Rourke should be awesome in it too...
