My toe is better. Although I have it taped when I play still.

Not sure I'm gonna be around much tomorrow or through the weekend -- so if not - hope ya'll have a happy turkey day!

I enjoy going shopping and getting to the checkout only to find out that I got half off several items I was purchasing and I wasn't expecting it!

Missing the early morning shopping mess because we didn't set the clock right. Meant I caught up on some sleep.

Went to Michael's about 10:30 this morning - what a crazy mess that was! For a craft store, there is always something I want that they don't carry. I miss Frank's.

Got my Mom's place decorated for Christmas and had leftovers with her. She was happy and her place looks all cozy, warm and Christmasy.

This evening hitting two dollar stores and JoAnn Fabrics and found everything we had been looking for and no crowds - in fact hardly anyone in the store.

Perfect ending to a perfect day.

I went top JoAnn's Yesterday morning about 8ish and it was a crazy mad house must have been at least 100 people waiting in various lines for fabric to be cut, the check out line went accross the front of the store and down the side isle nearly to the back but the line luckily went very quickly I was thankful for that I save some big money there yesterday

Wow......someone who misses Frank's. That's pretty cool, as I worked there for 25 years.

I probably shopped at Frank's longer than that! I always appreciated how that store was organized so you could find what you wanted and the staff were always helpful too.

Frank's bought Green Giant Garden Centers (5 stores) in March 1974. That's when it all began.......crafts that is.

Not sure why it's doing that. Here's my new phone. It has a feature book that weighs 5 pounds  The world's only flip-touchscreen cell that also has TV, GPS, video voice mail and Internet to mention a few fun things.

PM's sent to all the cool people who requested my new #.

I like to remember the kindness of the vet staff at the holidays and other special times. On the anniversary of Frodo's passing, I took a clear container of ginger/molasses cookies to the vet's office. At first glance, they thought I was bringing in one hell of a stool sample.

 Nice. Makes you wonder what kind of pet would leave saucer-shaped 'pellets' as poo.

I've been meaning to post photos of the cookies I made, along with the story of how they evolved, but needed to resize the photos, which I think I finally figured out how to do.

I usually put an imprint of a Swedish horse in the center of each cookie.

The horse kind of looks like a dog or wolf - I wondered if I could put a pack of wolves on one cookie...

Inspiration hit me! I wondered, "How cool would it be to have sled dogs on the cookie?" (Especially when I make cookies for the vet's office, since our vet is a musher.)
