long story - I got a zune for my bday. It's been in the box on my desk now for a month (trying to find time to hook it up, load music) here at work. Finally I had time two days ago. I open the box to find that someone has stolen everything inside, the manual, the cables and the zune.
grrrrrr.
XH called cause he's getting some wine from me at a deal for a party - and I was pretty ticked when I was talking to him.
Anywho - today, he's been searching craigslist trying to see if he can find the missing item. (eyeroll - not necessary, but sweet, and kinda funny - like he's looking out for me or something)
anywho - a note about the zune. We know who took it, and the kids gonna get canned for it by the weekend. Also, he's on probation, so should I file a police report - he's going back to jail.
Watching my niece have a blast getting traffic to toot their horns by giving the universal horn honk arm pull on a walking bridge over Hwy 52. There had to be 100 vehicles we counted that honked within 20 minutes. People were in good moods today. I loved every minute of it. Good stuff!! :cool:
enjoy: So I had a meeting with park and rec yesterday about the team my company is sponsoring for soccer.
After the meeting I was talking to the director, and we are going to meet up for coffee next week - there is a chance that my girls and I can sponsor a team of underprivledged kids and also coach them for spring soccer - a team of young little girls for the U6 division. Kids that without us, wouldn't be able to play.
That really really really excites me. And the fact that I'm starting NOW and not in say DEC for a January start - makes me even more happy.
I have the most amazing friends (ya'll are included in that).
I live somewhere that when I think it's cold in the am, I can still put on flip flops to go to work.
oh wearing flipflops, a wife beater and jeans to work.. that's an enjoy.
Coffee - better yet. MEXICAN COFFEE. Which is why i'm prolly in such a good mood - put 2 or 3 cinnamon sticks in the bottom of your coffee pot - brew a really strong batch of some good dark roasted beans, and let the coffee sit for about 20 mins before drinking. Yes there will be a little silt from the cinnamon floating on it - deal with it. It's heaven sent.
I wish I was around, back when they were a Brooklyn team.... would have loved them back then...
