It was terribly wet and chilly here today. For some reason, my aches and pains of late weren't bad at all today. Odd thing.
Glad you're doing better this evening, Eags. Naps are a good thing.
We're heading north this weekend to close things up there for the winter. Mixed emotions about that, but it is what it is and having more time to do things here this winter is a good thing too.
The following weekend, we're heading to Duluth for a wedding and some time for ourselves. I'm looking forward to getting in touch with the great pond again. I'm anxious to experience that spiritual renewal. It's long over due.
The only foods that give me the ucky heartburn throat is raw onions and stuff with heavy tomatoes - like pizza with waaaaay too much sauce to cheese ratio, and Tomato Soup.
Buca Di Beppo's is a place I don't go very often for that reason. I love the food, but its all southern Italian with LOTS of tomatoes and hardly any cheese to cancel the acidity.
I was at my son-in-law's mother's wake tonight at Kok in CG and looked outside and saw that rainbow. I went and got the grandkids who had lost their other grandma this week and took them outside and showed it to them. They got it.
And thanks for the picture, CM. My daughter tried to get the whole thing on her camera but wasn't able to.
I'm glad you brought them outside to see the rainbow at that moment. I'm sure it helped out many people who seen it tonight. That would be an interesting movie plot
except in my movie, it wouldnt be a rainbow....atleast not at first
it would be some giant UFO... or like... a super huge, scary thunderstorm cloud with lots of lightning - in which, when they flash, you can see shadows of giant, scary monster/demon things....
the rainbow would come afterwards, when the hero, kills off the baddies, defeats an army of zombies and ninjas and pirates - sent to destroy him and his team of pimps and playas, by using any lethal force they can come up with - and saves the day, and gets the hot chick.
they can see the rainbow, as they drive off into the sunset, and are safe until the sequal comes out....
thats where the dinosaurs show up.... along with angry family members of the ninjas who were killed in part 1...
and some mutants....
and Ben Affleck, because he can play almost anything.
Getting good news from the vet today! I finally took Yukon in for his spots and they are just fatty YAH! Also had his thyroid tested because he's been peeing/pooing in my house many times in the past month (totallly not like him) found his thyroid was normal...They think it's just a retraining issue YEAH!! I feel so realived I thought he might have been really sick now I feel ok saying BAD Dog don't pee in my house!!
Molly has been drinking a lot lately... ever so often will pee in the house (like not making it to the door) - then other times she will go for 12 to 15 hours without needing to go outside and her nose has been very dry and cracked...
We had him tested a few years ago for diabetes and it was negative because he drinks a ton of water and was severely over weight when we got him. We've gotten him to lose a lot of the weight but 2 yaers ago he tore his knee ligament and so he has put a little bit of the weight back on. As far as pain goes he does have issues with his knee and having pain but I really don't think that's it. The reason I say it is because he's been going in the same area of the house between the living room and the kitchen never anywhere else so I think he's decided it's just OK to do it there...
I can get heartburn from water. So I vote yes. Especially spiced-up crust. The fats used in it could trigger heartburn as well, the greasier it is, the worse it is.
I just got a new offer at Jones Lang LaSalle making $565 more a month!! Starts on the 27th.
I'll be a Engineer 1 taking care of the Unisys building in Eagan.
Now I gotta give notice. I never quit a job before. Gonna be hard. I feel like I'm screwing them over, but then I remember that its them that don't wanna pay what I'm worth. They are probly used to people quitting because its not enough $$$$.
Congratulations you two! Way to go!!! Double w00t!
And I still love my job. Challenges every day, frustrations sometimes, problems to solve, but it's a great fit for me and the money is so much better than what I was making before with the State.

Discin for the first time since being in the hospital. Going to a fun 1970's themed party across the street with fun people. Playing games and watching scary movies until all hours of the night. Watching the Vikes win while eating chineesse. Cuddling up with my best friend.
I thought the same thing and threw out a special thank you for the timing
The same can be said for a bald eagle soaring overhead.
I went out and bought some clothes tonight for when I get the next interview.

sounds very simular..
he is drinking a ton of water??
Hope you can find the solution to the house accidents, too!
I assume your vet ruled out pain as the cause of accidents?

Appetite has been good though.
