Living alone isn't so bad. You will feel some relief from walking the eggshells. Personally, I still walk them to some extent because we have kids in common. It's the coping with bills and chores that can become overwhelming at times. Give yourself some time honey. Be on your own schedule.
I'm sorry to hear that L and A Mommy. me2 is right - when you've been walking on eggshells, there is relief in the solitude. You are also in good company here, lots of good mentors in the Cooler who have walked this road with much grace and wisdom.
My mom travels a lot now that my dad passed away. She really doen't like being alone i don't think. She went to NY May 1 adn was going to come back after her birthday July 11.
yes it runs and was certified by the boiler inspector last year. Certification runs out at the end of July I think. We have all the licenses and inspection paperwork
Enjoy: The support and the help I got this weekend in my last minute move. Still looking for another cheap dresser Small or large is ok just need an extra 2 drawers in the kids room since we lost the drawers that were in their old bunk beds.
Try the big thrift store in the Sun Ray mall - where JC Penney used to be. The furniture is in the back right corner when you walk in. Decent dressers are kinda few and far between there, but they will definitely be cheap when a good one shows up.
The Goodwill in Woodbury is lesser known because it is new and hasn't been picked over as severely as any others.
If you really want GOOD furniture from a Goodwill, the town to go to is Rochester. That city is practically overrun with doctors with large and disposable incomes. They have a reputation for the best trash in the 5 state area. The downtown Goodwill store there looks like a Clearance Furniture Showroom.
Really ENJOYED finding this in my e-mail today - Congratulations! You passed the exam for 9-1-1 Telecommunicator. Your exam score is 82.71, and you are ranked number 21 on the eligible list for 9-1-1 Telecommunicator.
They are hiring 9 people out of the 340 that applied I made it to #21 yippy...Wish me luck I get another e-mail offering me an interview!!
Well at least your work number will be easy to remember.
Hey Yo!
J/K Hope you get in. I heard about some of those jobs opening in ramsey county before I got my 3M contract. I wondered what kind of hoops you had to jump through to get one, since they made it sound like it was decent money.
It pays freaking awsome didn't have to really go through many hoops have a high enough typing test score, take a 4 hour test and meet some very basic requirements either experience or a aa degree or better. Hours will still suck for at least a year but there is total room for movement and advancement.
I'm pretty sure the job should be mine I just had to make it to the interview stage. My best friends mom has worked there forever and said as long as I can get an interview and pass that horrible test I took a few weeks back that it's a sure thing cuz she knows the hiring lady  So I'll call her tomorrow tell her I got the results and see whats what.....
Cool, well when you get in, let us know how it is. Is it the Ramsey County 911 service, or someplace else? Minneapolis would probably be worse, just due to higher crime rates.
Who knows, I still need a real job, and might need something else if I can't get a tech job.
This week's been more like I hope I can I hope....It's been an extremely stressful week for me. I have a three day weekend starting 7 am Sat and I'd hope to finish unpacking and have some down time...nope....not going to freakin' happen....I have so much I need to do this weekend I think I'd rather work. :frown:
I've said it before and still believe it sincerely, I enjoy you people very much. Your support during this damn operation has been welcoming and appreciated. Thank You!!
Gander Mountain is off Hwy 19 - the next exit on 94 east past the water tower.
Look for Burger King and Superamerica - first stop light turn left - Gander and the Goodwill are the next exit AFTER you drive by Wal-Mart. There is nothing but farm fields past that.
3 weeks? was she on vacation for that long?
