When I went to visit Cluey the other day he was in with a very important sounding doctor. After a while, the doctor excused himself, said he'd be right back, then came over to where I was sitting and LOOKED SOMETHING UP ON THE INTERNET and then went back in.
Enjoy: Official news from Sprint stating they're releasing Android 2.2 for my phone starting this weekend.
I thought it might not happen for a few more months yet, but it makes sense since they're facing competition with the droid x and a few upcoming devices. I'm already prepping my phone for the upgrade and have been constantly doing the manual software update check. Some sources stated sprint will release the OTA update package around noon tomorrow.... Sooo tempted to run it while I'm at work and hope for a slow afternoon.. lol
I'd love to just install it and see how it goes, but would also like to hear from some others that have successfully ran the install before I did mine. It's weird being ahead of the curve for a change, usually I leave the beta testing to others so I don't have to go through the bother.
They didn't put this off. They decided to go along as planned so this is happening in the morning. For those of you who got confused when CM posted he was having this in the morning but posted it was put off in this post.
thats awesome! you've gone on trips to Duluth and up north just the two of you havn't you?
I thought this was the first plane trip ever and out of the midwest?
havn't you ever stayed in Wisconsin (Wis Dells) just the two of you?
I have only done one on one with Sarah (and that took til she was 18), I don't think I have ever taken a one on one trip with Whitney.
We have taken family trips over the years and I took them both on a trip with just me last August.
You are gonna have a blast!
**Wondering, people in the Cooler with more than one kid: Have you taken just one kid on a trip and not the others? where to? and how did the other kids react?
S@#t this reminds me CM I still owe you was it 20 for the football picks last year!?!?! I have had such a fun year! that I forget about my head when I wake up in the mornings!
hahah I know it was only yesterday you gave me my total but somehow it completely slipped my mind already that I had to throw a check in the mail...I think the lack of sleep lately is getting to me....I'll throw the check in the mail today I got paid
I know I am to but it is a mater of pride I hate Owing anyone any thing!!! I have walked up to people that have bar-owed me a buck and been like here dude and there like it was a BUCK!! dont worry about it!! But I am not like that!!
Jostens was disputing my unemployment claim stating I had 15 errors in my work this year. I appealed stating that was out of 2500 drawings (less then 1%) I won so I do get my unemployment.
Actually, being terminated for performance reasons is grounds for denying unemployment benefits, but things have to be well documented. I won denying unemployment benefits for a dingbat that worked for me, but I had 12 inches of paper documentation.
I inherited her. I started documenting from the start. Worked with a performance improvement plan and she improved. Started going downhill again and I pulled the plug.
The key ingredient in all that was a new hire in HR that wasn't wishy washy and assisted in getting all the right pieces in place and quickly. She had been through all this performance improvement stuff at least 3 times previous. I couldn't believe they had kept her on.
we actually had a conversation with tc's stepdad's (new) cardiologist on thursday (when he had his last surgery).
they asked if the doc used a particular nurse who they didn't like. once upon a time, said nurse asked what they wanted her to do for al, and tc's response was "your job". evidently this woman has questionable bedside manner.
the doc actually said (after an "interesting" facial expression) that she was working to see to it that no one used that particular nurse. ouch.
sooooo my mom is over and is looking at the monitor of avatars in the Cooler and she leans in and asks does that say "good luck"? she thought it read "good f..." ..... now re-read the avatar my moms way.
Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, Congress has decided to implement a scheme to put workers 50 years of age and above on early retirement, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment.*
This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People Early).
Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to Congress to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).
Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the SCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).
A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as Congress deems appropriate.
Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for Dependants & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance).
Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED any further by Congress.
Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. Congress has always prided themselves on the amount of SHIT they give our citizens.
Should you feel that you do not receive enough SHIT, please bring this to the attention of your Congressman, who has been trained to give you all the SHIT you can handle. Sincerely,
The Committee for Economic Value of Individual Lives (E.V.I.L.)

Ordered my first micro controller project board. Relatively cheap ($4.30 from Texas Instruments), I thought I'd be a good way to get started with learning to program and develop on a micro controller platform, without much of an investment

Best laugh ever.

Cut my hair Wednesday night.
Today was the first day of washing, styling on my own and being back at work... I was missing the long hair this morning.
Several of the "younger" men have been walking past my desk - stopping, doing a double take - then smiling and giving me a thumbs up!!
 Does wonders for the soul!
Good Luck baby! we are all Roto Rootering you on!

or she may meet us in duluth or something.
Who I barely see.
Enjoy: and have absolutely no concern about getting paid back.
That's good friendship, when you drop that kind of dough and know people are good for it, just because.
It's been two years since Clueys heart surgery.
I'm soooo happy and grateful for him ~
