getting to look at some very old winter carnival stuff at work. They have a locked room full of antiques and a bunch of winter carnival stuff in there. There old robes and king boreas outfits along with the prince outfits and queen robes and a bunch of other stuff. I assume they are very old. Ramsey county is storing it for some reason. Really cool to look at!
Adventures in online shopping: I recently bought a screen protector for my wife's new phone from an online outfit out of salt lake city. I ordered it two weeks ago and it hasn't come so I called today. Turns out the country codes are coded wrong in their system, so if you actually put in the country code everything gets screwed up. Long story short, in the city of Apple Valley, in the country of Uganda, there's a frustrated UPS driver looking for a big norwegian guy to deliver a package to.
They're resending. But seriously, a norwegian name, Apple valley, a 5 digit zip code, who lets that go to Uganda? And who goes "Wow, well for $3.99 shipping and handling, let's let that puppy out the door to AFRICA."
"The last of the V8 Interceptors... a piece of history!"
It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
looking forward to dropping the white flag on the drag race
cool find on the WC stuf 3M. They have been hiding that stuff for a long time there. It used to be kept out in the open near the stash of abandoned bikes. Scribe and I used to play in it. we have pictures of us wearing sashes and princess crowns.
If you haven't seen my Facebook shots from the Muscle Car show, I'd like to see who takes responsibility for this abomination: a 454 Big Block engine mounted inside a Chevette. That's just sooo wrong!
I like it. They used to have conversion kits to make it easy to put a 350 in a Chevette. I had also seen for just $1400 a kit to make a Chevette into a pickup truck.
You start with a sh*tbox and end up with something fun. I say kudos!
I try and show every person who comes into my room but nobody seems to care. :eyeroll:
Thanks TV this does suck. And now they took me off of the pain drip which brought the pain back ASAP. Trying to tough through it so I can get the hell out of here. Maybe tomorrow? At least I'm down from 6 pumps to two anyway My arms are way full of holes all over the place :frown: My doctors and I decided to put off the colonoscopy and surgery until after the 17 when Ali and I return from our only daddy daughter trip ever. Plus I get to see her get her braces tomorrow and go camping this weekend along with Jakes big day next weekend. They felt I was too damaged right now anyway.
I set up an interview with Ramsey County for the 911 Position I wanted!! Wish me luck Monday!
-congrats.
I'll cross everything I have!

sounds like Cluey gets to go home tomorrow.
He still hurts, they are weaning him off pain meds and heperin and stuff...so see how he reacts first.
Surgery is being planned for end of August.
